The Sapphire AMD HD6670 is ok. I've heard several reviews saying it has smooth Frame Rates. You should really get a DIY Desktop. It is very simple nowadays.

With GeForce, go to Nvidia Control Panel, turn off PhysX (or turn to CPU on newer drivers), Maximum Prerendered Frames: 8, Antialiasing - Transparency: Multisampling and Vsync: Force off.

You don't NEED a quad-core for gaming at all. The more cores you have just allows you to have multiple applications running at the same time. In no way does it increase the performance. The only thing that will do that for you is having a higher GHz. If you go with something around 3.0+ GHz, that's all you will need to run any game you want. Anything beyond that is for the highest of enthusiasts or people looking to make the fastest system possible.

Whelp, The problem here is your processor. Your processor is to weak to handle the graphics of the games your using. The correct processor you should be using is Intel i7, or i5. They'll be good. intel dual cores would be good to. Hopefully this will help.

You can't run a game like this with little ram and a shit processor. A good graphics card isn't going to cut it. A quad core like you suggested in the description would most likely run this game twice as better. Plus you're using a screen capturing program which overloads on your little two gigs of ram so... the next time you buy a game, make sure you can run the game by looking at the MINIMUM specs before playing it. or you just wasted 50 bucks.

You don't NEED a quad-core for gaming at all. The more cores you have just allows you to have multiple applications running at the same time. In no way does it increase the performance. The only thing that will do that for you is having a higher GHz. If you go with something around 3.0+ GHz, that's all you will need to run any game you want. Anything beyond that is for the highest of enthusiasts or people looking to make the fastest system possible.

@pijef I got a quad core with a ati 5670 512mb ddr5 and i can play that island on max settings but when i play campaign i lag like a bitch for some reason and cant figure out why i got 3gb ram with q6600 quad 2.4ghz processor should i over clock it .2ghz ? or upgrade the ram the video card should be good.

Whelp, The problem here is your processor. Your processor is to weak to handle the graphics of the games your using. The correct processor you should be using is Intel i7, or i5. They'll be good. intel dual cores would be good to. Hopefully this will help.

OK, look. Your processor isn't that great. buy an new one. at least duel core 2.4 maybe. Get more RAM as well. But your graphics card is fine. Just upgrade your current PC with a better processor and more RAM and until then just put the performance options down.

You can't run a game like this with little ram and a shit processor. A good graphics card isn't going to cut it. A quad core like you suggested in the description would most likely run this game twice as better. Plus you're using a screen capturing program which overloads on your little two gigs of ram so... the next time you buy a game, make sure you can run the game by looking at the MINIMUM specs before playing it. or you just wasted 50 bucks.

i suggest to that if your buying a new graphic card, try getting hd4890 from 9800gt
or get one of the high end 5xxx series from ATI

oh well honestly your CPU is not good, i think the ram is good but not good enough for the game, 9800gt is enough it still can handle modern games at medium to high settings@1280x720p
and your PSU is bottlenecking you whole system :P
well as as you get a new computer i suggest you to get this specs:
AMD Phenom II X4 @ 2.9GHz
3GB DDR3
9800GT
i bet you will enjoy that specs for a long time
you can play med-high settings 1280x720p without lag
40 - 70fps :)
