I used Handbrake to convert the m2ts (or whatever it was) stream in the BDMV folder to a very high-bitrate mp4 that was quite a bit larger than the original 8GB (I think it was around 20GB, which is still smaller than the lossless conversion of Revisited, which is around 160GB).
I then took it into MPEG Streamclip, and converted the individuals shots/scenes I needed (to save space) to Avid 1:1 (lossless) format, then imported into Avid at 1:1 resolution.
