When Jerry would do this song on the Chittlin circuit, very few dry eyes in the house. I've seen the writer of this song teary eyed doing this classic. The genius of Mr. Bacharach! Where is the quality screen writers and film gods? Why hasn't the body of this mans work and life been filmed in some qualitative form. I think we're living in a ghost town or desert when it comes to great musical documentaries or oratorios.I pray they come back to life.Spent to much time on junk? What happened?
