Best melody, I think, in all of the Madonna catalog, and that's saying something. Also, she really sounds as if she was giving it her all (she HAD to at that time!) even though her musical vocabulary was still quite small, compared to even a couple of years later. I think this is pretty common in the music biz, though. If they could just bottle that inner drive from when they broke in, maybe they could use it on some of their later material, when the sound is more anesthetized.

I loved watching Madonna's videos because you truly got enteratined. She gave the full show & you coould relate to her videos. She is such a talent. She's bigger than life itself.
