LOL. People thinking Chrispy's better than Rusko... At least rusko knows his roots. Rusko's also changed his sound up before too. Chrispy has had the same sound and ive never heard of him making anything like the original dubstep. It's always the same crunched wobble with no variation. Rusko's went from stuff like Acton Dread to shit like Mr. Muscle and this song. Variation isn't everything, but it sure as hell helps :p. (btw, all of this is imo)

If you wanna complain about music being mainstream, go sit in a basement and listen to vinyl from 40 years ago and guess what? It'll still be mainstream because it was 40 years ago. Music is mainstream, and regardless of how underground someone is, when they build a following they will adapt and become mainstream. @MrScott1023 Hehe, well you'll always be able to say "I remember this when it started" the Origin Point. Anyone can like or dislike something once it's been established and continuing. An Origin Point only happens once though. So even if people do start pretending to like it to fit in with a certain crowd, you know the score, and they don't matter. Also any music that's inspired because of dubstep you can trace back to the roots. That's rare and cool. Pointless to worry about it. :)

@Emandudeguyperson Again, variation is what sticks out with Bassnectar for me. He's got some really original stuff and has integrated hip-hop drum beats into his music pretty well for the most part (not quite dubstep at that point tho). I think he's alright I guess.. Definitely not one of the best. The thing I don't like about him is that it's always a mid-range and sometimes high-pitched wobble in even his kinda chill songs. Let a nice smooth bass flow and add in halftime drums and relaaax haha
