Idra fell victim to a neural parasite. That's what happened--Neural parasite by a Terran, mind controlled him into GGing and quitting. I can think of NO other reasonable explanation.

Idra left the game because when he saw MMA's Command Centre being built at the gold, he thought that the original (the one that MMA accidentally destroyed) had lifted off. Thus Idra assumed that MMA had so many bases, he couldn't handle it.

MMA had his 3rd at the gold but when idra saw the rebuilding, he thought the cc was lifted off and MMA was getting a fourth. He knew his drones were in gas but under the frustration idra left.
