I know there're alot of criticism about the way he likes to go off the regular tempo and drag out certain notes. However, I think he's obviously very musical, and it's just verse phrasing. I know to many, it sounds like he's off the beat, either before or slightly after the regular beat, but he's really not. Many great singers hit the offbeats as well. I wish people would stop criticising him for trying to sound more lyrical.
