I'm not a Kiwi or Aussie, but it seems as though they're countries like the US and Canada. Not very much difference in the people as they are so close. Of course they are separate by water, and we aren't. So maybe not.

not to generalize, but the many canadians i've met haven't been able to. while i admit that sometimes i can't tell if someone is canadian right off the bat, i can usually tell within the first few sentences (one of my friends was so surprised that i was able to tell he was from toronto the first time we met). also you have to admit that there is a big distinction between someone from new brunswick and someone from milwaukee or someone from edmonton and someone from philadephia.
