Guitar sounds great, but you have your thumbpick choked too far back. Makes your hand go to a bad angle. It's not as efficient as those Nashville cats who basically use it as a normal pick and then claw style with the rest of the fingers.

I noticed a littl bit of hum in the sound, I just finished building a les paul and i had te same thing.

Try some copper or aluminum tape in the pickup cavities or grounding it the bridge

Everything is from scratch, except the tuners and the electronics. I have taking the outline from an origenal iceman.
