hey i have the same 4 wheeler and it has been sitting for a like 8 or 9 months and it wont start and the last time i rode it it kept bogging down when i gave it gas, my uncle said that it might be the carb and bad gas so and i have no idea whats wrong with it, it was my dads but he died in 09, and im 15 so i was wondering if you know what might be wrong. please send me a message or reply.

@hotboyalex250 i had the carb adjusted but it still wasnt running right today i find out that the spark plug isnt even screwed in but 1/4 inch idk how that happened i put it all the way in like 2 weeks ago somehow it was stripped like crazy bad but a tap fixed that problem =). now i have a flat tire because of the valve stem and cant break the bead... so i cant test out if it has more power =/ but it seems like it does when in neutral on the throttle.

That looks like a 1983 honda 185s. I can tell because of the gas cap because that was the last year for the 185s and the only year with that gas cap. After 1983 they replaced the 185s with the 200s.

I rode a Recon once in the woods. When I climbed the nasty hills it would stick like glue, felt like it would climb vertical. Amazing machine for what it is.

oh my god, my honda atc 185s would run right up that hill. you need to hit it faster! and when your winching, dont spin so mutch, your just making the ruts bigger. now get back on that after you put your helmet on, and go back down there, and do it again, till you get it right! and have lots of fun doing it too! 8-)

Best Honda for mud is the 250 SX shaft driven with reverse . But you need some real good mud tires . the engine is imposible to break and have lots of low end torque and a real low first gear "as long as you change the oil and filter" .
