  • Great rifles and a lot of fun to shot. Mine is all USGI parts built around an Enterprise receiver. It is marked U.S. RIFLE, 7.62MM M14A2.

  • Why are you lying? Anybody can see it's an M1A

  • @bargunner18 You know that's a Springfield gun?

My LRB M14 says M14 on it, not M1A.

For all you know that's a Fulton or LRB.

  • @ESCTASTEC I live in Australia and Im not an abo

  • I wish this and the M1-Garand weren't so expensive so that I could own them.

  • @09stoneheart well then my advice to you is. the m1a -m-14 is the up-graded version of the garand m1 . and if a REAL AMERICAN SPRINGFEILD ,is out of your price range get a norinco chinese knock-off, for about 400.00 bucks ok,

  • *after firing* *sighhhh.....* "meh."

the sound of charging that weapon is orgasmic!!!!!111

  • heyy tough guy use ear protection

  • Just got one of these beauties. Springfield M1a national match, Walnut stock with stainless steel barrel.

  • @TheBurlingtonCrow super match is worth the extra.

  • The M1A receiver is a cross between the M-1 Garand and the M-14 receivers. Excellent rifle.

  • @EEGaming1 It's a M1A. A M14 is the military model that is or once was, Full auto.

  • The M1A _IS_ the M14. For those of you that understand analogies; M16:AR15 as M14:M1A.

  • You had a private shooting range... (I'm jealous, mine is always packed)....

  • a type 56 is an ak right? m1a is an m14?

  • @dabbchang yes from what i rember the type 56 is a chinese varient of the ak and the m1a is a m14 but without a select fire capability...

  • @mrantihippie More like the civilian model that Springfield Armory imports parts and assembles them. A semi auto M14 is still a M14.

  • M1A is the civilian version of the M-14

  • this is a m14. why would anyone challange that? look at it. i bet it even smells like a m14

  • m1a1s gay, unless your talking about the thompson...

  • I WANT A GUN, TAKE MY 2000 PLEASE, hows that

  • pile i think we found somethign your good at

  • @metaldrummer71

    thought the exact same thing.

  • @metaldrummer71 something you do well*

  • @metaldrummer71 you might be able to serve in my beloved corp. I love that movie

  • @dudemaster1994 ya such a classic

  • The M1A is a civilian version of the M14 rifle but it's made by Springfield very seldom will you see an M14 on the range.

  • MOVE !

  • thats an m1a...

  • i just brought the standard M1 A ( m14) 22 inch ..fiberglass stock..love it..great rifle..its expensive ..i traded in my saiga 308 for it...and paid the difference

  • nice video dude it looks soo clean. how much are one of those?

  • @TheFryer18 I bought one and it costed 1800 dollars but mine was made by Springfield. You can get knockoffs for less.

  • Can you please shoot it in full auto please?

  • You and your M1A you mean?

  • @michaelhoangtin no m1a is a ebr for the navy and marines and maybe army too

  • @michaelhoangtin That's an M14

  • @michaelhoangtin pretty much the same thing...

  • @michaelhoangtin M1A is just Springfield Armoury inc's name for it, other manufactures make M14 varients, cant assume every semi-auto M14 varient is an M1A

  • @michaelhoangtin it is a M14!

  • @michaelhoangtin Although this is not a true M-14 because it does not have the selector lever for full auto, to me it is still recognized and to alot of veterans as an M14.... thats just my preference though.... when I hear M1 i think of the Garand....

  • YES, that is a nice weapon.

    Learn to use it well.

  • damn boy, stand up and shoot

  • @spitzer72 So the Jews are bad, with some exceptions...

  • @spitzer72 I think a Jewish man raped you as a child so now you hate Jews. A common syndrome, one contracted by Hitler...

  • @spitzer72 you fucking dumbass. Go fuck yourself you anti-semetic piece of crap

  • @spitzer72 wtf is wrong with you. I'm a Jew. There's no secret conspiracy of Jews controlling the government.

  • @spitzer72

The US gov't is one of the most oppressive in the world with its Patriot Act, income/property taxes, NFA/Gun Control Act, unending wars, etc. But it is also the strongest in history.

Generations have strayed from the writings of Jefferson, and the America that won the Revolution is now more tyrannical than the British of that era could ever dream of.

Laws made by such ppl arent laws, but threats of violence against citizens. They are edicts. But I'll obey them bc I'm a coward.

  • @spitzer72 Unfortunately that is very illegal. FDR made sure of that in 1934. Do that and you're sitting in jail with actual criminals, like child molesters, murderers, rapists, etc.

2nd amendment rights are supposed to be PROTECTED by the government but instead they incarcerate you for exercising them. Isn't the USA a great country?

  • it recoils if you're a pussy vagina

  • FUCK I WANT A GUN!!!!!, BUT NO CAUSE GUESS WHAT, I LIVE IN AUSTRALIA SO FUCK THAT

  • @Titleification move to usa!

  • @Titleification so, get involved, politically to change the law and stop bitching.

  • @Titleification you should come to U.S

  • @Titleification That's a shame... the people of australia wanted that? Just curious? Obviously you didn't but whats the strory on Australia because I see 100s of comments just like yours..

  • @Titleification WTF? Crime in Australia must be the highest in a civilized country.

  • @davidhlusko You sir, are an idiot. Crime rates have little to do with random people owning guns.

  • @wotcherme lol seriously??? If you know someone can't legally own a gun, than what is going to stop you from doing a Break and Enter? Owning weapons does prevent crime. Your problem is you can't see from both prospectives, so if someone doesn't agree with you they must be wrong. What do you think, i want to take your guns away from you? You must be a teenager and think you're always right.

  • @davidhlusko I have a problem with perspectives, eh? :P Hear who's talking. We're doing fine here without guns, I must say. You should try it sometimes.

  • @wotcherme Well look at a country that actually has a brotherhood aye? Try that in Detroit and you'll get raped. Regardless of Gender. and literally.

  • @wotcherme but it seems plenty of pot lol

  • @TheAlexagius Exclusively for those with the right connections.. :P

  • @Titleification Move?

  • @Titleification You are welcome in America.

  • @Titleification same here (german rules lol) =(

  • @Titleification i thought u could have guns in astralia that sucks

  • @Titleification Move out.

  • @Titleification I wouldn't sell a gun to anyone screaming that they want a gun. It's just a bad move. Don't shoot yourself or anyone being an idiot.

  • @Titleification i thought shooting was one of those things that runs deep in the Australian heritage

  • @Titleification Who the hell is gonna try to kill you or rob you in Australia?

  • @ferdin12 Thats not the only reason you own guns.

  • @SuperFretShredder Than why? You know there is other methods of suicide...

  • @ferdin12 You can own guns because your interested in them, kinda like toys. You dont need toys when your young, but you have them because they interest you. ( I am NOT saying guns are toys) And no its not a psychotic hobby, just a mechanical interest. Or maybe your interested in seeing how accurate you can be with one. Guns dont have rights, people do. And its people who must be responsible.

  • @Titleification move to new zealand.

  • @Titleification Move to Georgia you'll get all the guns you can possibly want !

  • anyone knows a firing range that a 13 year old could go to and that they have an m14 for renting during the firing range?

  • @MrSilver497 It's not so easy, you usually have to know someone. Depends on where you live too.

  • @crazychris0003 true Im from georgia me and my uncle are going to a firing range nearby but I have to wait till summer im interested in the m14 since thats the rifle my grandfather used in vietnam.

  • @MrSilver497 It's such an under rated rifle. I can't choose between M14 or M21, because... well, you can substitute the M21 with the M14 just with a scope and extra practice. The guns I will be getting, and keeping for protection are M14/M21(Idk, maybe both for the heck of it), Sawed Off 12 Gauge, Taurus PT58 (Concealed carry.)

  • @crazychris0003 I wouldnt lable the M14 variants as "Protection" when you fill out your registrations for them... That will red flag you. Why in the right mind needs a battle rifle to protect them? As for farm use "protection" sure sure... But put recreational on the registration. I also suggest finding a Saiga12 or Saiga20 for your shotgun. Get the 18" version and put a folding stock on it. I own a full size Saiga12 and i have found its probably the best shotgun ever made. The CC pistol is good

  • @crazychris0003 I personally own a KAR98, you can get a couple variants of it if you are looking for a cheap long range weapon. I would suggest the VZ.24, a Chez(best) version of the German KAR98. It fires an 8mm (7.92x57) Mauser round which is extremely powerful. On the leaf riser it is marked for up to 2K meters, I have do doubts that they will reach 1500-2K meters accurately as German snipers did a hell of a job in WW2 with it.

  • anyone knows a firing range a 13 year old could go to that they have an m14?

  • I still think all we need to do is take this rifle, and make it like the m16, same materials, etc, 5.56 just the m14 out of aluminum and ploymer, there's the US military's m16 replacement

  • @24GordonFan223 they did that. its called the ac 556 or a select fire mini 14 but the thing is you cant make the bolt or receiver out of aluminum it wouldn't take the tolerances because of the design of the action and how it works

  • @MrNelsonb2 AC 556 looks like a pea shooter. Is it any good?

  • @crazychris0003 they shoot the same round as the m16 with the reliability of a m14 but they are not as accurate as an ar platform i like them though

  • Best rifle.

  • im sure he knows the dif. between m14 and m1a you f'tards.

  • you lucky son of bitch :)

  • Very nice Rifle

  • Erm.. that no M14... I believe that's an M1A.

Your's doesn't have a fire-selector switch on the right side of the bolt/receiver casing.

  • Should have grab your whole hand on the front grip man. Nice shootin' anyway. Hey, make a review on it in the future.

  • hey I have a question!

Can you turn your gun into Burst-mode fire??

If it does, why US army prefer to use in SNIPER RIFLE?

  • @consair3 In the full automatic version of the weapon prolonged firing causes the barrel to melt. For a 3 round burst .308 look at the G3, they're nice

  • @consair3 Since no one is answering you and I am not a gun nerd (trying to learn to be), I have only seen the M14 in semi-auto and full auto, and they use it for a sniper rifle cause it is beastly accurate and reliable, and the M16 is more user friendly for the average soldier. M14 is for the snipers cause they are hardasses and can handle a sick gun.

  • @crazychris0003 welll...that's semi-true...the military only brought the M14 back into service because the Army and Marines needed some moderately accurate mid-range rifles to have instead of buying a shit ton of M24s and M40s for soldiers and marines to use...it is a accurate rifle, dont get me wrong, but a semi-auto rifle will never match the accuracy of a simple bolt action platform...the M110 SASS is deadly close to proving the whole accuracy between semi and bolt rifles wrong though...

  • @RocketBoz I would prefer a semi auto sniper over a bolt action when in urban, or constant engagement, instead of bolt action, which I would prefer for bird's nest shooting, or long range engagements where there isn't a huge chance of close engagement.

  • @crazychris0003 oh yea man, i agree with you totally.....Semi-Auto, such as the M14(M21), M110, and other various rifles are great in urban engagements where you take contact anywhere from 200-800 meters because of the high volume of fire capability to put rounds downrange.....im just talkin in the Ft. Benning trained "sniper mission" scenarios

  • This is an M1A, not a real M14. If you are what I think you are (a marine?) you should be able to tell the difference. And no, you don't [always] need to have a Class III license, because here in WI, you just have to pay the extra tax, plus pass the background check.

Just my two cents, I'm a U.S. Army DM, and an owner of a real Class III M14.

  • "i dont want no teenage queen...I just want my m-14"

  • thats a mans rifle right there. You get man points for owning one.

  • You sir just wasted 20$ !

  • how much did it cost? yo should go deer hunting with it

  • Isnt this an M1A?

  • where'd you buy that?

  • M1A!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • No dumb ass it's not a underpowered .223 round, it's a .308. get it right.

  • you looks like gay

  • We've all seen people shoot, we wanted to see how well you and the gun did...duh.

  • I like your gun buddy..

  • Ben...are you truly homeless? I got a bed for you man. Well, it's actually more of a cot. One condition, you have to let me fire that M14! That is an excellent weapon my friend. You should make a vid firing that thing on full auto!

  • Hay guy you have good shoulder control. Did you ever think about becoming a marine sniper I bet you be very good at it.

  • I wouldn't tell him to be a sniper. If he has good accuracy, and good footing - wouldn't you rather have be the engineer that produces the weapons for the soldiers? Thought so :)

  • i would rather have one of those then an AR-15 even though they are good.

  • Nyroku - it depends about distance and target. Say you were white tail hunting - that perfect 10 pointer came in front of you - you couldn't do anything with that AR-15 to bring it down. The M14 is a .308 cartridge - it has a lot more stopping power. When choosing a gun, you should consider distance and target.

  • I like the m-14

  • I shot my nepghbors M14 - it was a good experience. I hunt with a Alexander Virginia 30-06, which is top of the line, and I am definitely considering picking up an M14. But to be honest I learned to shoot on the 30-06, so chances are - that will be my prefered rifle (Its pin point accurate to 1000 yards).

  • at 0:44, that is not an M14. The selector switch is not there.

  • must be a relative of the M14 then.

  • @Nyroku

Its probably an M1A, I got one very similar

to that a few weeks ago

  • nice way to treat that rifle there at the end, just throw it down and slam the shit out of it......its just a rifle.

  • @Ladylawless8

it's a military rifle, its not going to break...

  • military rifle it aint gonna break... you gotta be fucking kidding me first part were your wrong is where it came from the us military it will break

  • you gotta be fucking kidding me, no it won't. Maybe it will jam, but you got to try pretty hard to break one of those old rifles.

  • This is not your "new M14" this is your "new M1A". You do not own an M14.

  • The only difference is that the M14 has a forged receiver and the M1A has a cast receiver. Yes, I know the M-14 has select fire, but most current military M14s are semi, because you cannot control the damn thing in auto(plus, just shooting fan m14 if auto wears you out). Casting had a bad rap in the past, but most modern cast components now meet or exceed the specs of forged materials today. Essentially, the M1A is identical to the M14s I carried while in the Navy. And, it's one of my favs.

  • You can buy an off the shelf AR-15 that is 90% identical to a mil spec M16A2 or M16A3. Does that mean you own an M16?

  • Sure, the only difference is in the trigger assembly of the lower receiver and sear. Since the drawings are pretty easy to get and those parts are merely stamped steel, you can mill those in your garage. In fact, I would much rather have a civilian upper receiver/barrel at 16" w/ a 1/9 twist shooting M193, than a military 14.5" w/ 1/7 twist shooting M855. You can achieve tumble and fragmentation in more combat scenarios, thus a higher casualty rate. That's why the M4 had to change ammo.

  • Then, if you are talking about the old M-16, w/ a 20" barrel and 1/12 twist. That thing can only shoot M193. The M4 can only shoot M855. Whereas, a civilian AR15 with a modified trigger and sear mechanism can shoot both M193 and M855 with the close to the same battle-zero . A civilian AR-15 in the right hands is far deadlier than the standard issue M4 or M16. You just have to tweak the trigger, catch, and sear to reach the same rate of fire. It's really a wonderful thing. XD

  • agreed

  • @li7in6 although, my older M1A has some M14 parts :)

  • @li7in6 Fulton Armory make a semi auto m14, the receiver is stamped "M14". Norinco make makes a semi-auto m14, it's also marked "M14". Also LBR makes the same thing, stamped the same. Springfield is the only one that is stamped m1a. But, it's still a m14 style rifle. My m1a has just as many m14 parts as it does m1a parts. Also, most AR-15 style rifles are not marked AR-15. They are marked A-15, C-15, and so on. And people call them AR-15's

  • @li7in6

Dude who really cares but you, its close enough to the real thing, I mean it still shoots 7.62 just not full auto.

  • @TheTha7thTrump there is a difference in quality of manufacture as well as precision between a true M14 and an M1A. Which is why so many people strive to put M14 parts on their M1A.

  • @li7in6 that is an M-14, you can see the metal on the top of the gun... an M1 carbine, has no metal on the top!

and what you said, was an M-1, not a carbine... the regular m1 you told about doesent have a magazine!

  • @CarlHindsgaul There is a distinct difference between an M1 Garand (WWII battle rifle chambered in .30-06), an M1 Carbine (WWII carbine chambered in .30 carbine), the M-14 (post WWII redesign of the M1 Garand with a detachable magazine, full-auto, chambered in 7.62 nato, etc.), and the M1A (civilian reproduction of the M-14 initially produced by Springfield Armory, semiauto, chambered in .308 Winchester). The M1A, M1 Carbine, and M1 Garand are three different firearms in three different calibers

  • @li7in6

    Springfield M1A is a semi-auto line of M14s so it's still his new M14)) Just like a Golani is a semi-auto Galil.

  • ...and then we don't get to see the target for results. That's like omitting the last 10 minutes of any movie.

    GRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!

  • And your such MOORE-RON,,,,HA ha I crack myself up...get it his name is MOORE ,,LOL

  • wow what kind of dumb-ass american joke is that? hey i think i hear ur sister marrying your dad down in kansas, why dont you go attend.

  • Strong recoil !

  • for a pussy

  • the m14 is like todays m1 garand

  • You meann the carbine.

  • no the m14 and the m1a (the civi verison) are both 7.62x51mm it has vertualy the same balistics as a .30-06 it a battle rifle. a carbine uses vertualy pistol ammo or assault rifle rounds.

  • M1A are .308 not 7.62 NATO

  • the diffrence betweene the two rounds are very little. nigh damn near interchangeable. but if you want to get into tecknacalities. it's the m-14 that's the 7.62x51mm but the m1a is a civilain modle and it uses the civilian round equivilant which is a .308 cal.

  • My springfield armory M1A Loaded is chambered in 7.62x51mm not .308....308 rounds can be dangerous when fired because of their lighter primers that dent when the bolt goes into battery, and possibly could slam fire.

  • ah. makes sence. but it also depends on the ammo manufacturer.

  • I dunno about that, I've ran some .308 through my M1A and it runs just fine. It's a commercial rifle so why would they chamber it for a military round?

  • probably the same reason that all mil-spec ar rifles are chambered in 5.56mm, and AR-10 rifles are chambered in 7.62mm, they are commercial rifles too. when you buy a M1A it comes with a pamphlet stating the dangers of using civilian ammo.

  • Hmmn.. Very true.> But like said before what is a 3.08

  • its the same round almost like 223 vs 5.56, one is for hunting and one is for war.

  • the m14 doesnt use the 5.56 it uses the 7.62.

  • is that 7.62x39 or 76,2 nato?

  • It's 76.2x51 NATO

  • 7.62x51mm. the other one is a russian round.

  • There are 5.56 versions as well.

  • Yes there is, except it's not called M14, but the Mini-14.

  • it was modeled after the garand. very similar.

  • M14 is a full sized rifle in 7.62

    Mini14 is an M14 carbine in 5.56

  • @Gordonalways1 i have a mini 14! and its fantastic

  • No M14s or M1As in .223, Ruger builds the mini 14, looks like the M14 .

  • its probably a springfield armory m1a which is a m14 without a selector switch

  • He said its an Polytec M14, its the chinese variant of the M1A

  • nice vid bro..

    who makes this rifle

    ??

  • think springfield armory

  • Fulton Armory
