What if you have one cdj player and one mixer. can you still scratch with the crossfader?? like would it mute the sound if you move it to another spot without a deck?? PLEASE HELP
I know this guy helps people, but how is he going to teach someone how to scratch when he admitted that he dont know anything about scratching on another video?
Of course...you have to practice no matter what but he gives great tips. You're not going to just watch a video and know what you're doing. I don't think anyone understands how much goes into DJing unless you DJ yourself...
i understand what man is doing but hey, everyone who has come or will come top dj will not watch suck youtube videos.. just practice, practice and you start to feel it. this kind of "put your finger here, put your finger on that, move 2cm to right" dont help to keep our (turntablism, dj:ing etc) alive. just my 2 cents
ummm... i don't know what you're trying to get at. my buddy has 1200's and i've used them and they are a lot easier to use compared to my crappy gem tt01's. i guess you're just trying to be a dick or whatever. sorry we can't all be great DJ's
Hey , Johnathan , got a question about this sort of turntables , There are vertical lines instead of dots on the side of the platter , how can you see if the speed on the 0 pitch is correct ? I don't get the sense of having a strobe on this kind of turntables ?
well good tutorial thats the first sound i listend for and learnt lawa lawa is how i put it dj hype is a master at this once u got that part soundin good thats wen u start to learn more and adding other scratches to it i recon drum and bass is a good 4 learning how to scratch and sounds good to scratch to

Stop posting your ridiculous video, get a life ... you have hardware and no skills at all ...
You take some drugs for talking that long for saying anything at all ?
There is many more scratch tutorial video on the web, see it before posting your obvious things.

this guy is overkill - he talks waaaay too much. spends 4 minutes to explain one friggin scratch. he's the opposite of concise.

can you scratch with any turntables?
do you need a direct drive or a belt drive turntable?
please reply x
jarvyhasadog 3 years ago
direct drive is probably better. You can definitely use a belt drive but because it has less torque than direct drive, it wont sound as good.
jumpingashflash 3 years ago
if u have a belt drive u could actually break it when scratching
