  • Why doesn't this video talk about how Steve is buying a ton of guns for his buddies in the gun industry who want some of that sweet sweet HOA money, making up scare stories about neighboring HOAs, and then invading those HOAs with the guns he magically happens to have at the ready? And then, how does this narrative propose Steve balance his massive gun spending while keeping HOA fees low? You guys kinda skipped over that part.

  • By now they would have to sell everything because they have too much interest to pay back!

  • BUT Tom didn't get voted to office next time around. :/

  • You realy don't get it, this Video wont let you get it!

In Rich Countries People pay lots on taxes, and they get a good service for it, Germany, Denmark Sweden etc.

In poorer countries like the US people don't pay lots of taxes, and look what happens to your residences, people bagging for money on the streets, lots of people on drug, trashed neighborhoods.

U got a lot to learn in US, Obama will save your country if you give him a far change!

  • @lucasrem Never seen so much ignorance in one reply, LOL.

  • Put more videos like this, just the facts, no judgement call. Our news channels are just putting out their own agendas.

  • If I handed you a dollar every second of every day it would take 443,643 years to pay back the $14,000,000,000,000 America owes. Good luck with everything ;)

  • @44bobio The US Gov't earn much more than that. They earn around 300 billion dollars per year will take around 46 years to repay all their debt. However, countries like China would probably surpass and become more powerful than the US by then.

  • Well if say I could fit them all into a snowglobe, I'd smash them all to pieces then.

  • Also, nopt all the members of United Estates contributed to the HOA, therefore there is a deficit. And with the deficit, the tax on the inority had to be raised. Now if everyone paid into the HOA (corporation and wealthy (like the tax evader Heritage Foundation)) there would not be a deficit and the HOA would spend within their means. Also, the pool table, swimming pool, and so on, where is the ROI? Oh and socialis securtiy has NOT added to the debt. How can it? It is $2 trillion in the positive

  • Funny? Bushj raised the debt ceiling 17 times without an ROI. So has the Heritage Foundation gone left?

  • Actually this is quite good. It is over simplified to a point, but that's so the liberals can attempt to understand. Though they won't, they'll just trash the heritage foundation for telling them the facts. That government subsidized programs don't work if we don't have the cash. Our system was not designed for the liberals purpose. We can't sustain entitlements into infinity. The plan never has worked in any society in history. Liberals will fire Obama and say he's the problem, not the plan

  • Yeah like no want's to live in America.

Just stop with the immigration BS and realise that almost 80% our more are immigrantes our has father/grandfather as an immigrat so they should not be a hipocrate.

  • Yeah.... no.

Cutting the economy doesn't work; cutting spending in such a manner inevitably means that people go out of work, whom then start collecting unemployment finance from the government.

This of course means that the expenses could INCREASE instead of decrease...

  • if you have to have something "made simple" legalize weed and there is no longer a debt limit meaning we wont be broke anymore and minimum wage will go up and prices of EVERYTHING will go down

  • Lol, Heritage Foundation. Why would you watch this and trust it as reliable?

  • All money Colombia owes to America is ours and we need it now!!!

  • The video remained unbiased and factual until around 2:40. When it accused Steve of bundling credit raises with other bills, it deviated from actual history... most presidents have gotten clean bills. The model also fails to take into consideration the issue of default entirely. It then falsely assumes that a new president would act any differently.

  • since the interest rate on bonds is less than 3%, and inflation is around 2 and 3%, the country pays no interest at all. The united estates do have to pay an interest, because they cant issue bonds, but credits at 10%+ interest.

  • And I guess from 1917 - 2011 it's been all Democratic Rule? This video can lick my left testicle...Heritage Foundation = bought by the Republicans!!! lol

  • The politicians of USA are even worse than Steve for the latter at least get the water pipes fixed after having extra credit money, while the former simply never deliver their promises once got elected.

  • Does that also include No to the weapons and war industry complex ?

  • The issue that "conservatives," Republicans and republican Tea people think is the problem with Obama and Democrats. And that is the National Debt. The facts: Reagan 1.9 Trillion; HW Bush: 1.5; Clinton: 1.4; GW Bush 6.4; Obama: 2.4.

Last 30 years of National Debt:

Democratic Party Presidents: 3.8 Trillion Dollars

Republican Party Presidents: 9.8 Trillion Dollars

Nothing "conservative" about ^^ the nearly 10 Trillion GOP created debt.

The large Debt is a Republican/conservative created problem.

  • @seahorse05 Both parties are one in the same, its nothing more than a dog and pony show. At the end of the day after a heated debate brought to you by c-span, they all go have a beer and yuck it up together. Career politicians are just that in it for the career, until the system is reformed nothing will change regardless of whether its a D or an R holding majority.

  • I see a lot of comments on how this video is nothing like the situation in the US, but i see no comments on why. That says a lot i think.

  • down with koch

  • This video is the worst kind of propaganda, a fluffy piece with no actual facts.

  • Proverbs 22:7 The rich ruleth over the poor, and the borrower is servant to the lender.

America and England are moving from a state of Recession to a Depression.

Only the Lord Jesus Christ can save us from this downward spiral.

Red China will collect on it's American debt in the near future.

Prepare yourselves for the new masters of the Fractured States of America....

Jesus Christ is the Son of the living God who died for your sins because he loves you!

Ask Jesus to save you & he shall ~

  • MY story will end when i die....like every else's....stupid man!!!

  • The Chinese community credit card!

  • @rcampbellnc your an idiot, that is why you can't see that this relates exactly to what is happening in this country. Close you mouth, don't type until you become educated enough to think...

  • @rcampbellnc It's exactly how the economy of the US works. The fact that it's so simple only proves how completely incompetent politicians are and how ignorant Americans are to keep voting for the wrong guy. Calling it "right-wing" doesn't make you look more intelligent or convincing. You may not be an idiot, but you sure are brainwashed and completely ignorant of reality. Good luck in the next 5-10 years, like many Americans, you're going to need it.

  • Comment removed

  • @intrepidorator "the comment that I made about liberals being jealous of the more successful tea party members was obviously an opinion." - LOL! Do you really give up that easily? You've spent a week trying so hard to prove your opinion with that poll that isn't even applicable to liberals and you're finally giving up? ".. I suppose that this is the average of those who were tested?" I don't state opinions based off made up facts that aren't even listed in the poll (sorry that's your job)!

  • and this was posted in 2009 ......

  • the first thing that needs to go in the us is the damn EPA and then then the study of shrimp on treadmills

  • @intrepidorator Hopefully, this works: h t t p : / / articles . cnn . c o m / 2010 -02 -26 / health / liberals . atheists . sex . intelligence _ 1 _ sexual - behaviors - liberalism - exclusivity ? _ s = P M : H E A L T H as well as h t t p : / / i . imgur . c o m / kpb5A .p n g

  • @bonndiablo The second link says that it no longer exists, the first is interesting and is a good starting point on understanding intelligence. The study you cited was on children and young adults. A population with a higher percentage of liberal thought and is irrelevent because it depends on the person to identify themselves as liberal. I have questioned many who thought they were liberal only to find that their views were really conservative. traditional values, national security, taxes.. etc

  • @intrepidorator h t t p : / / i . imgur . c o m / kpb5A .p n g , I just reconstructed the link from what I posted you and it works perfectly fine. That's amazing you can reconstruct the first, yet you can't reconstruct the second considering how short it is. Oh well, regardless, if you could understand the difference between objectivity and subjectivity when "proving" your statements, then I think you would realize that providing "proof" in the form of your subjective opinion is pointless!

  • @bonndiablo The link worked, but it led me to a page that said that it no longer exists, I'll try again, maybe it was the server. Thank you for making my point for me. The fact that my statement was a value judgement should have made you realize that opinions are always subjective. . Ahh it worked that time, now let me see what it says...Ahh Im surprised california did so well average IQ of 96 with all those liberals Im shocked.. I suppose that this is the average of those who were tested?

  • @bonndiablo But seriously that is an interesting graphic. It inspires me to investigate further. It makes me feel like a genius, My IQ is 124.

  • @intrepidorator Frankly,I don't think polls are adequate enough to prove one side's (conservative or liberal) case over another. However, if you are asking me to come up with some polls that might aid the liberal side (once again, I'm not a liberal) in your argument, I suppose these 2 might do that:

  • i know china cant claim the 25% america owes in debt because they are dependant on america to buy there goods. and if they claim chinas dollar will go up and therefore there products will go up in price and then americas wont be able to buy there goods. but when will they be able to claim the money owned?

  • Either we kill m or the contrary.

  • Very clever and simply put. Well done.

  • @intrepidorator Actually it's possible that there were no liberals in the "general public" section of the poll you posted. Furthermore, (as I've said before and you've conveniently forgotten) how do you know that other parties have not dragged liberals down in the "general public" section making liberals "more successful" than tea party members? Also, how do you know that liberals might only make up a small portion of "general public" and other parties might represent a much larger portion? x2!

  • @bonndiablo I never said that it was impossible, I told you that I am willing to entertain the possibility. But unlike me, you have provided no study or poll to even insinuate your claim is true. I do understand your theory, and I'm willing to see your evidence. Do you have any studies or polls that make your point?

  • @intrepidorator The only claim I've ever "insinuated" was that you gave inadequate proof for your statement: "You should realize that the reason the liberals hate the tea party so much is that they are jealous of people that are more successful." This may surprise you, but I'm not a liberal. I see strong points to both the conservative and liberal sides as well as weak points. Frankly, it's my opinion that both sides are stupid to fight over this petty crap while our country goes bankrupt.

  • @bonndiablo Actually you suggested that liberals were either not part of the general public or under represented. But your point is irrelevent either way. I pointed out a study and you disputed it. I posted the link to the poll and you dispute it, I ask for your evidence that the poll was skewed and you obfuscate the obvious point that was proven by the poll. Let me clarify for the mouthbreathers, The poll says tea partiers are more successful. I said that libs were jealous. I am right!! lol

  • @intrepidorator Unfortunately intrepidorator, you said:"You should realize that the reason the liberals hate the tea party so much is that they are jealous of people that are more successful." The proof you gave said nothing about liberals whatsoever. For all you know, independents could have dragged down the "general public" section and liberals are more successful than tea party members. (repasted again since you can't seem to understand your error, or you are too proud to admit you're wrong)X3

  • @bonndiablo I understood the comment, Its just as irrelevent this time as it was the last. I told you before, the poll states that tea party members are more educated and successful than the general public. and then I said that I said that the liberals were jealous. The poll is the fact that I base my well educated opinion on. I'm sorry that you are unable to understand the difference between the facts in the poll and my opinion of jealousy. I am right, you are wrong. end of debate, good day...

  • @intrepidorator Obviously you didn't understand the comment since your study polls the "general public," not "liberals." Yet you are using a subjective term (your opinion of jealousy) with the faulty poll to "prove" that you are "right." Why even use a poll to prove your point when it relies on your subjective opinion of jealousy? You are correct that you are "right" in your own mind, but you have left out any objective fact to prove your view! Try to understand that your opinion proves nothing!

  • @bonndiablo I see your error now. You thought that my comment stating that liberals were jealous was a statement of fact. NO. The poll that I posted was the statement of fact, the comment that I made about liberals being jealous of the more successful tea party members was obviously an opinion. I wish that the graphic which you provided was more detailed, the murder rate for example, is not explained, is that murders per 100,000? North Dakota looks nice, average IQ is tied for the highest too.

  • OK tea partiers....since you all don't want to raise the debt ceiling, going so far as to say it's "just scare tactics" and NOTHING will happen after the August 2nd deadline, I have a plan. Since the government is saying they will have to decide who gets paid and who doesn't get paid if we default, I vote that it's YOU that don't get paid! No social security checks, no medicare, no unemployment checks, etc...OK? How about that plan? Yeah, then we'll see how fast they change their minds! Fools.

  • @723jgp Funny post. You can't understand that raising the debt limit doesn't mean we don't pay the bills, What it means is that the govt has to decide where to cut its spending to make up for the money that they can't borrow. We borrow 43% of the money we spend. This MUST STOP!! the president decides who gets paid and who doesn't. He can decide to pay everything necessary and stop wasting money on treadmills for shrimp. I hope that I have explained this well enough for you to understand.

  • Wait, is Steve congress? Or the president? Or both? It seems like he's congress, because he can appropriate funds, but when Tom succeeds him Tom says no, which I think is meant to be a veto. Help?

  • Brought to you by the Heritage foundation: The people who predicted that Iraq would give us all their oil, and build statues of George Bush!

  • 4:12.

    Nice chart.

    First increment 25 Bill

    Next is 300 bill.

Next increment should be 12x bigger to make a logarithmic: 3.6 trillion.

Instead, we see a mark at two increments that would be more than 36 trillion, but instead is marked 3.

The gap between 3 and 12 trillion is the same as 12-13.

Um, f'ing with the statistics much?

When Bush blew past 10 trillion, I was the guy wondering why no one was noticing.

Funny how upset we are now that a Democrat is president.

  • This would be a good analogy if Tom selling the pool table meant that millions of elderly people were suddenly broke, and Tom closing the guard shack meant that millions of poor people suddenly couldn't afford medical care when they got sick.

  • The US's main expenses are the military, Social Security, Medicare etc. To compare national defense and caring for the old and poor to a pool, lamps, and a compost pile is pretty insulting and lame.

You also forgot the part where Steve told the people who live in the biggest houses that he'd lower their HOA payments while raising the payroll taxes on everyone else's.

  • The debt limit goes up when the economy grows bigger and the population expands. If United Estates has grown exponentially, then the video might have a point. Otherwise it is simple, like "We've always been at war with Eastasia."

  • "Brought to you by the Heritage Fou"*CLICK*

  • by the Heritage Foundation, huh? Well, we will sell the pool table but we will not reduce the military spending. How many retired military people in the HF ??

  • the fed operates a Ponzi scheme. It is impossible to be fiscally reasonable. Ask Geithner how the FRBNY handledl $8.4 trillion from the Treasury auctions and hid it from Congress. Ref. 3ww scribd dot com doc/49040689

  • Our economy is based on the infinate growth model of the capitalism fueled by the banking fractional reserve system coupled with ever increasing population. All goverment entitlement/service programs only work if we continue this model. This economic model does not take into consideration the limitations of resources and the linear waste from their consumption by humans

Sooner or later we run out resources or damage the enviorment beyond repair.

    TSHIF soon.........

  • crap, heard heritage foundation in the first 20 seconds, knew the "made simple" part meant "made incredibly biased"

  • would it not be easier to raise taxes to 100% and why not cut service just to be on the safe side make everybody a slave, and if poeple get sick or too old dump them in the grand canyon.

that will get you out of debt

  • Except people really didn't want to give up their pool table and guard shack so the Tom started saying yes and overspending again so he could get re-elected and keep his job. And so the vicious cycle continued.

  • Well, at least they showed the problem of them taking from the social security jar.

  • killuminati.isgreat.org /banks,html

    you're welcome

  • Why doesn't Steve just lower the homeowner's fees because that will increase revenue somehow. Right?

  • @bcourter82 Because a neighborhood doesn't generate money like an economy unless of course the neighbors buy/sell/trade with eachother in which case having more money to pay for things will increase everyone's ability to generate wealth. this still doesn't help unless they set up a tax system based on income or sales and that tax system doesn't prevent them from increasing wealth through economy.

  • @SuperNache It's a laughably simplistic example in any regard. If you accept the video's premise as a metaphor for government spending (a complicated macroeconomic system) then why not for everything else? The Heritage Foundation would have us believe it is just that simple. Anyone with some "down-home, good ol'-fashioned, all-american, country-fried, bald eagle on July 4th, common sense" could solve the deficit problem. Not so simple when instead of a pool table it's food for poor children.

  • @bcourter82 Actually it is pretty simple. Because the economy grows naturally every year, all you would need to do is stop increasing spending. If we don't make any cuts to government programs as they stand right now, GDP will and consequently, revenues, will catch up to spending and we will begin to see surpluses. For that to work, govt would need to say no to pretty much all new spending and our government won't do that as it currently stands. too much regs and propping up failed companies.

  • @SuperNache Educate yourself on what the federal budget is spent on. It's military, medicare and social security. All your other talk radio propaganda is just a drop in the bucket compared to those big 3 items. It's not simple to cut those like a needless pool table. Therefore, the video is oversimplified garbage.

  • @bcourter82 Oh for petes sake,, The video is completely accurate and serves to educate the people out there that haven't been paying attention. Your complaint that it is oversimplified garbage is a mere platitude. This video wasn't designed to explain the problem in detail..

  • @intrepidorator not designed to explain the problem in detail huh? Spoken like a true Tea Party member!! :)

  • @bonndiablo TY I accept the compliment. Tea party members are more educated and more successful than the general public. I appreciate the compliment and hope that you can understand that this video is just what it says it is. "the debt limit; made simple." it is not "the debt limit; explained in detail." I hope that this helps you to understand.

  • @intrepidorator "Tea party members are more educated and more successful than the general public." Care to prove this statement in detail?

...or shall we just assume it? After all... it would be much more "simple" to just assume it.

Yeah, let's stick to the principles of the tea party, accept statements that can't be proven as fact, and make deductions off of those statements and label them facts as well!!

  • @bonndiablo I did prove it, I provided the source and cut and pasted the body of the article. I can provide a link for you but remember youtube does not allow direct links.

    w w w . nytimes . com / 2010 / 04 / 15 / us / politics / 15 poll . html

  • @bonndiablo You should realize that the reason the liberals hate the tea party so much is that they are jealous of people that are more successful. Why do liberals refuse to take advice from people more successful. Why do progressives insist on following the economic policies of a man that has never even met a payroll in his life. Obama was a professor, but you know what they say; Those who can do, those who can't teach.

  • Comment removed

  • @bonndiablo Did my last comment not appear on your computer?? I provided you with the source of the information and also a link to go and see it for yoourself. Where are you getting lost? I'll try and help you if I can.

  • @bonndiablo Oh I think I see your error. You failed to read my entire comment. I posted the results of the New York Times/CBS News poll. This is the result of not reading the entire comment.

20% make over $100,000 as compared to 14% of the general public, this states that compared to the general public more of the tea party makes over $100,000.

23% of tea partiers have a college degree compared to 15% of the general public. I hope that this helps you to understand. More are educated. get it?

  • @intrepidorator Almost two thirds of Tea Baggers get their "news" from the Fox Right Wing Opinion Network so there goes your, "They are more educated" theory.

  • @Wingnutserstoopid Oh. I see that you are a brainwashed liberal. FOXNEWS shows the news from a conservative viewpoint. It shows news reports that the rest of the media is to leftwing to show. The fact that conservatives have 1 news channel to watch is too scary for the liberals to stand. You keep watching your msnbc and get your daily dose of Obama worship. I'll watch FOX and get the truth.

  • @intrepidorator The "news" shouldn't have a left or right slant. The news should be objective reporting on what happened. I'll give you credit, most idiot conservative won't admit Fox has a bias like your dumb ass just did. Most of that shit station is opinion and very little reporting is ever done. I don't watch any cable news or the either of the big three. I read about what is happening on the web and then do research to find out the truth. You, on the other hand, are a spoon-fed bitch

  • @Wingnutserstoopid It's just upsetting Wingnutserstoopid because intrepidorator literally equates "general public" with "liberals". He thinks that just because some liberals might be involved in the general public of a survey sample, then the results of the survey are completely applicable to liberals. With that line of reasoning, you could ask 99 nazis and 1 jewish person if the holocaust was bad, and then come to the result that all jewish people feel that the holocaust wasn't bad at all!

  • @bonndiablo You <of course, misrepresent my position. This is either intentionally lying about what I said, or evidence that you still don't understand it. A better analogy would be that you compare attitudes about the holocaust and the poll determines that the majority of Nazis supported the holocaust while the general public in Germany opposed the holocaust. This would be a MUCH more accurate portrayal of the poll concerning tea partiers and the general public in the NY times/NBC poll I linked

  • @Wingnutserstoopid I have to laugh at your assertion that conservatives are idiots, because it is the rich and educated that are the most hated conservatives by stupid liberals. The FACT that you assume that any news report is ubiased shows that you are too stupid to debate on any issue of substance. Have a good life of dependence on the govt, just leave the serious thought to those of us that are capable.

  • @intrepidorator I don't hate the rich. I hate racist assholes which is what MANY tea baggers are. A movement that started within weeks of a black man being elected president. I remember the taunts of "nigger" and "faggot" during the HCR debate, if that is what you want to call it. Mouth breathing losers spitting on Congressmen. Death threats, vandalism and LIES is how the tea baggers responded to Obama. Meanwhile, none of them cared when Bush lied us into a war that cost over 4,500 lives

  • @Wingnutserstoopid Thats funny, There is no evidence of many tea partiers being racist. This is propaganda put out by the left wing media like msnbc, and cnn. In fact, tea party members have ran off the fake tea party members that were sent down to make them look bad. I remember claims of taunts and name calling, buty never was any evidence seen on tv. I remember a monetary reward offered by Brightbart to anyone that produced evidence. but no one could claim it. No one ever spit on anyone. LIES.

  • @Wingnutserstoopid I might as well correct your misleading (lying) statement that Bush lied us into a war. Bush and every person in congres received the same evidence about WMD's in Iraq. Hillory Clinton supported the war based on the intelligence that Bush was supplied with, so did John Kerry, So did every free nation in the world. You really should examine your motivations before making false statement like calling Bush a liar. A lie is intentionally misleading. Bush was given bad inteligence

  • @intrepidorator There was plenty of intelligence that stated there were no WMD which Bush ignored. Heck, we even had inspectors IN IRAQ before the invasion telling us there were no WMD. It is a lie that those in Congress had the same intel as Bush and it is common sense that they did not. Besides, the Iraq War Resolution was not a declaration of war. Rather, it was giving Bush the option of going to war, "as a last resort." The quotes are there because that is what Bush said at the signing.

  • @Wingnutserstoopid Ok, Im open minded, show me the intelligence that stated that Iraq had no WMD's. Don't you remember H.Clinton, J Kerry, saying that Saddaam had wmd's and had to be dealt with? And since you brought it up. Bush did have congressional approval to attack Afghanistan and Iraq, but Obama states that he doesn't need approval to continue bombing Libya. You'd think that if you were intellectually honest, you'd at least be calling out Obama for his (actually) illegal war.

  • @intrepidorator Bush and his cronies repeatedly stated prior to the invasion of Iraq that Iraq had something to do with 9/11, that Saddam was pursuing nuclear weapons, that Iraq posed an imminent threat to the US, that Al Qaeda was receiving support from Iraq and that Saddam had WMD's. None of those things were true. They weren't just mistakes, they were LIES. He had no intel to support the lies. He lied about mobile WMD labs, aluminum tubes, etc. Clinton took out the WMD's with Desert Fox.

  • @Wingnutserstoopid The massive cache of almost 400,000 Iraq war documents released by the WikiLeaks Web site revealed that small amounts of chemical weapons were found in Iraq and continued to surface for years after the 2003 US invasion,

Also in 2004, troops discovered a chemical lab in a house in Fallujah during a battle with insurgents. A chemical cache was also found in the city.

  • @Wingnutserstoopid Ill provide a few quotes to help you remember.

If Saddam rejects peace and we have to use force, our purpose is clear.

"We want to seriously diminish the threat posed by Iraq's weapons of mass destruction program."

President Clinton, Feb. 17, 1998 "We know that he has stored secret supplies of biological and chemical weapons throughout his country."

    Al Gore, Sept. 23, 2002

There are many more quotes from Democrats before and after the war started to prove my point.

  • @intrepidorator President Clinton, Feb. 17, 1998 "We know that he has stored secret supplies of biological and chemical weapons throughout his country." That was prior to "Operation Desert Fox" They had no WMD capabilities after that. We know that to be true. Tell me, do you think the invasion of Iraq was worth the cost? 4,500 dead American soldiers, over 20,000 permanently disabled, a TRILLION dollars, hundreds of thousand of dead Iraqis and for what? We took out a non-threat. Well?

  • @Wingnutserstoopid Why are you trying to change the subject? Your lied and said that Bush lied to take us to war. This in a typical stupid liberal position. Bush did the absolutely right thing in reaction to the intelligence that was provided to him. Do I really need to provide you with MORE evidence of your progressive heroes agreeing with Bush based on the information provided? Are you really this unable to learn? You are probably blissfully ignorant of the chemical weapons that we found there

  • @Wingnutserstoopid it can't be that he's a Marxist? Nope, it must be because he's black that people oppose him. Hmmm, was GW black also? Sure seems allot of racist don't like him either.

Stop falling into the black or white traps my friend. North vs. South, Black vs. White, Democrat vs. Republican, need I go on? Divide and plunder is exactly what we have been and contunue to fall victim of.

You are not my enemy nor am I yours. We're supposed to rule this land not our creature.

  • @LJR1776 Despite stealing the election and ignoring the threat of terrorism Clinton warned him about, Bush had an approval rating in the 90's after the 9/11 attacks. The country rallied around that chimp. Can you imagine if Gore had been president and 9/11 occurred? Republicans would never have been as supportive of him as the Dems were of Bush. Only after that illiterate fuck crammed irresponsible tax cuts down our throats and started a war based on lies did he become rightfully hated.

  • @Wingnutserstoopid The documents showed that US troops continued to find chemical weapons and labs for years after the invasion, including remnants of Saddam Hussein's chemical weapons arsenal -- most of which had been destroyed following the Gulf War.

  • @Wingnutserstoopid In August 2004, American troops were able to buy containers from locals of what they thought was liquid sulfur mustard, a blister agent, the documents revealed. The chemicals were triple-sealed and taken to a secure site.

All of this information was uncovered by the wikileaks document dump and was reported by the New York post.

I wonder why the left wing media hasn't picked up this story? HMMM I wonder..

  • @Wingnutserstoopid You are unable to understand the need for tax breaks, you just sit back and cry like a little baby about jobs leaving the country and companies sitting on billions of dollars, but you're not smart enough to see that tax breaks on small business is how you promote small business to expand or even to stay in America. The tax cauts that you hate actually INCREASED the tax revenues coming into the govt. But don't let the facts sway your progressive opinion. SHEESH...

  • @Wingnutserstoopid you're still seeing in Democrat and/or Republican. We cannot reign in our out of control children if they have us fighting amoung ourselves.

  • @Wingnutserstoopid OH and I almost forgot to pull the same nonsense that bonndiablo did and demand proof of your assertion that 2/3rds of tea party members watch FOX. I await your evidence with baited breath..lmao

  • @Wingnutserstoopid Still waiting on any evidence at all to support your claim that 2/3rds of tea party members watch FOX news. I don't really expect to see any proof, but its fun to prove that you made it up.

  • @intrepidorator "Sixty-three percent say they get the majority of their political and current events news on television from the Fox News Channel, compared to 23 percent of Americans overall."

  • @intrepidorator Oh now I see where you are screwing up! You are equating "general pool of people polled" in your link (which doesn't have the language you posted in the body of the article in the link you gave, but I'll give you the benefit of the doubt) and "liberals?" It would make it easier for your argument if "the general public" was equivalent to "liberals," but unfortunately you continue to make things up. Thank you for making this so easy for me! Sorry I had to expose your fairy talel!!

  • @bonndiablo I can see your glaring error even more clearly now. You think that when the poll says general public, it doesn't include liberals. I made nothing up I was simply posting the results of a poll, you are free to disagree with it, but your opinion is irrellevent to the truth of the poll. I hope this helps you to understand where you stand in this debate.

  • @intrepidorator Unfortunately intrepidorator, you said:

"You should realize that the reason the liberals hate the tea party so much is that they are jealous of people that are more successful." The proof you gave said nothing about liberals whatsoever. For all you know, independents could have dragged down the "general public" section and liberals are more successful than tea party members. Regardless, you've given no proof of your statement. Once again, thank you for making this so easy!

  • @bonndiablo Again, you fail to see the glaring truth. The poll that I posted compared tea partiers with the general public. Unless you consider liberals tea party members, you must concede that they are part of the general public. Even you are capable of understanding this. I've provided you with the link to the study twice now. I would be willing to entertain your interpretation of the poll if you can provide me with any evidence to the contrary. It's easy for you to deny without evidence I see

  • @bonndiablo Did I not make my request clear? I asked that if you dispute the claim that liberals are a part of the general public that was mentioned in the pol, all you have to do is provide me and everyone else a link to a poll that claims that liberals are more successful and educated than the general public. I am willing to entertain the idea that it is a remote possibility. But absent any evidence on your part, I don't see how you expect anyone to take you seriously.

  • @intrepidorator The New York Times/CBS News poll:

20 percent of tea party members make more than $100,000, versus 14 percent for the general pool of people polled. Fourteen percent of Tea Party supporters have a post-graduate education, compared with 10 percent for the general public. Twenty-three percent of Tea Party supporters have a college degree, compared with 15 percent for the general public, according to the poll.

  • Stop disguising reactionary propaganda as a helpful primer.

  • how to solve the debt: end the wars, cut the military by 90% and make it less then 5 percent of total U.S budget, End the Federal reverse, Get rid of all foreign bases, End welfare for Corporations ...

  • @theabomation The US has done that a few times in it's history. Example-After WWII, the military took drastic cuts to the point it couldn't really afford to maintain it's equipment and train it's personnel. When the Korean War broke out, Americans initially found themselves outgunned and outmanned. People had to be drafted, many WWII vets had to be called out of retirement, and war spending had to skyrocket to catch up with the times for the US to be successful.

  • America should only engage in wars for self defense and since America has not been invaded since 1812 you get my point@SuperNache

  • Hey Steve, I need some money to do my nails and hair....how much does it cost? I don't know just put it on the credit card!

  • this is soo wrong! where is the huge wars that "STEVE" made? And TOM still counting those WARS? :)

  • This video is disturbingly wrong and misleading. The US Government at a macro level bears no resemblance to a corporation. Suggesting that you can understand macro level economics by "reducing it to a micro scale" indicates the author does not understand macro economics.

And saying that the US would be better off with no debt demonstrates a lack of understanding of monetary reality post 1971. Government debt is 1 of the 2 sources of additional money used to expand the economy.

  • We have approximately a $14 trillion debt and about the same amount of income (from taxes, fees, etc.). So, our country's debt to income ratio is about 1 to 1. Now, look at the debt to income ratios of many of the companies we'd love to have in our stock portfolio. Companies like IBM, Boeing, Catepillar, etc. and look at their debt to income ratio.

It is not the size of the debt , is what you do with it. Oh and spare me the bank bailout part. That was done by the previous mgmt.

  • Another propaganda piece from the Heritage Foundation.

  • @sonambulator lol @ the troll

  • Where is the part where Steve cut the Home Owners Fees for the wealthiest residents? And where is the part where Steve borrowed 700 Billion and gave it away to Banks and Wall Street investors who promptly gave themselves huge bonuses?

  • This was great and very Educational to me, now i sum what understand

  • Who is this guy?

  • Nice videos this you tube world just gets bigger every day! When you have time come visit my channel!

  • Excellent! Thanks for educating me.

  • [Pt 1] Okay so we know our problems are not Wealthy Individuals (not to be confused with rich individuals). The real problem and possibly the only problem regarding all economies is one simple fact; adding maybe a few smaller subcategories within the one fact.

  • [Pt 2] The Biggest Problem That Eludes Most Peoples Intellect? (drum roll)… INTEREST (and compound interest)!!! and thus why we are all broke and will never [EVER] recover. $1,000.00 is $1,000.00; if 10% interest is attached the $1,000.00 is now $1,100.00… very simple math right? Here’s the problem, the $100.00 doesn’t exist anywhere; it’s imaginary!! * don’t forget to add compound interest to the $100.00!!

  • [Pt 3] Now do this with all monies ever borrowed since the word [INTEREST] became a common borrowing ideal and what we find is an unimaginable massive - beyond anyone’s concept of [Imaginary Money] - who knows for sure how many zeros come after the one. However the World Bankers, World Corporations and the like have gathered/traded --ALL—this interest and became wealthy beyond anyone’s imagination. (rather shrewd; you guys are so smart)

  • [Pt 4] All economies are based on the global money markets; the latter mentioned manipulative Wealthy beyond our imagination Conglomerates plot and move monies around at will - causing panic and economic imbalance; ultimately buying up all stocks (to save the day and stabilize our economies; our heroes) at an extreme low cost to them and a big loss for all saving for a rainy day.

  • [Pt 5] When people realize that all laws, policies, politicians, governments and the like are run by these conglomerations and not us (we have no wealth; just debt) then we realize it’s time for this game of MONOPOLY to be put back into the box… the game is over.

  • [Pt 6] We lost and some won – yeah – they are truly superior to us common folks yet no matter how you slice it there are only a few that continue to play the game and if we wait for them to finish this game - to find one sole winner… you and I along with millions plus …will probably be dead!!

    - - - PUT THE F*ING GAME BACK INTO THE BOX… YESTERDAY PEOPLE!!!

  • Government is incompetent.

It is as simple as that.

It isn't left vs right or GOP vs Dems. It is the government vs the private sector.

It is as simple as that.

  • Liberals having been using cartoons to educate their "adult" base for years, (i.e. Beavis & Butthead, The Simpsons, South Park, Family Guy). The success of this strategy was made obvious on November 4, 2008. I'm glad the Heritage Foundation has decided to try this approach, although I don't think sticking to truth and facts has the same comedy appeal. I was thinking a guest cameo by Nancy Pelosi, but the cartoon version would look too much like Yzma and confuse people.

  • I like the blonde girl @ 2:56 (the conservative), Joe @ 3:05 (the liberal), and by far the vast majority @ 3:11(moderates). Pretty good example of the political landscape. Joe looks like Reggie from the Archies.

  • Very simple explanation. But what I don't understand, is that there are 183 likes, 10 dislikes... so 5,2% still don't get it... Hmmmm

  • @johannas58

We all pay social security and medicare tax if you work....as long as you are not a government employee. They have collective bargaining that gives them the choice on participation in social security or not. Shouldn't I get that same choice too? That is another topic, but what I meant to say is, "50% of all income earners pay virtually no income tax.":

This is why BHO still has any support. That is only why. About half don't contribute.

  • @isanchezflus

We got a bunch of states in America together and decided to create a larger union and share our militaries, currency, and language, and some laws. This union of now 50 states was the majority of N and S Americans and is a larger number of American states than any other. That's why

  • wait... so we're supposed to sell.... what? our overseas military bases? our capitol?

  • You forgot say at what point, Steve starts to blame George Bush for their debt problems.

  • @federalwarhawk Hahahahahahhahaha +1

  • @federalwarhawk Iraq, Afghanistan, Medicare Part D, the Bush tax cuts...Stop me when I get to something the Dems are responsible for. If you think the debt is just from the Democrats you are a moron and should be put down.

  • The debt will reach 15 trillion in a couple months.

Buy silver and gold now before the dollar is destroyed.

  • i think understand, but it feels like both parties in usa have the mind of steve (not only usa but many other heavily indebted countries to) and are missing the mind of tom.

  • Excellently concise presentation that any gameboy-playing member of society can understand: good job!

[Plus it's just funny how the solutions are a backcycle: selling all the unnecessary junk that caused the problem in the first place.

  • wow....such a short, simple easy to understand video that explains the whole current account deficit situation in US. Great job.....5 starzzzz!!!

  • They left out the part where they borrowed the money from another community and if they dont vote for more debt ceiling then the other commuinty will loose interest and ask for there money back because they arent making money off them anymore. So the people actually hurt themselves and now are paying huge for it. Ohh and the whole war stuff would of been good to add in there.

  • where is the part of the story involving war over oil resources in order to increase the wealth of oilcompanies shareholders and direction?, i coudlnt find it

  • The video perpetuates a falsehood. Presidents don't spend money. Congress does. All spending originates in the House.
