If Ben Johnson were faster than Usain Bolt why is it that he hadn't set a record faster than him? He may have had the best start ever but Bolt would still blow Johnson out of the water over the course of the race.

I personally think Ben,,,,,is the best bcoz hes BLock clearance cannot even be done today its in human wen u think or even if u try it out...u realize tht u cnt even get out the blocks quick enough with todays athletes...........he wuld beat Usain or Tyson regardless of wat they done..........maybe not Gatlin or mo greene.

@puljacina Bolt would of still ran a high 9.6 even in the 80's for sure. Did you not see him slow down with about 20 meters left and beat his chest to set a world record. I'm sure he'd still be a good 2 or 3 meters ahead of ben johnson if they raced each other in their primes
