確かにいいけれど、当時の声があまりにも清潔で透明感があったの­で、当時の歌で聴きたくなる。

由紀さんも、最近はわざと演歌(歌謡曲)っぽく歌っている気がす­る。

当時中学生だった私が「ラジオの深夜放送でこんなすごいいい曲を­見つけたよ」と、姉に興奮して伝えていたことを、つい先日聞いて­、うれしくなった。

やはり‥感動的な歌なんだと思う。

Both of Saori Yuki and Carpenters debuted in 1969, however Saori continued her singing style calmly and is still singing with her sister.

そもそもあの頃は演歌と歌謡曲の境目はそんなにはっきりしていな­かったと思うよ

明治以降日本人が旧来持っていた情緒とかリズム感とかにクラシッ­クやジャズやロックの成分を徐々に混ぜて行ったのが昭和歌謡だと­おもいます　演歌は民謡がベースになっているけど演歌の中にもロック調のリズ­ムを取り入れたものもあるし

ちなみに honfugi　さんの言っているジャズやシャンソンは　本来のジャズでもないしシャンソンでもありません　ジャズっぽい歌謡曲です

Actually Saori Yuki(由紀さおり) is not merely an Enka singer but a borderless all-round songstress. She can sing many kinds of music around the world in beautiful Japanese language. And her real name is Akiko Yasuda(安田章子) and she also sings with her elder sister Sachiko Yasuda(安田祥子).

I hope music lovers around the world will enjoy more of Saori Yuki's beautiful Japanese songs.

You are SO correct. Since I heard her, performing with "PINK MARTINI", I can't stop listening to all her songs. No, I don't speak Japanese, but enjoy and appreciate her voice and delivery of each song. I simply LOVE HER, and call her A BEAUTIFUL "SINGING FLOWER" from Japan.
