I know it sounds weird but I use Dr. Bronner's liquid soap for everything in the field. It can be used to clean your body, hair, clothes, dishes, even your teeth. Yup, I use liquid soap for toothpaste. The peppermint stuff actually isn't too bad. If you have long hair, it does leave it a bit tangly but for short-haired folks, it's all you need. It is also biodegradable just like the popular camp suds. Give it a try... you might like it. (I have no affiliation with the company.)

To stay light and still have tinder with me for that logfire I use navel and toe fluff; always plenty there after a long hike.

Love the Dinky Stuff! All great ideas. I need to get me some of those tinny little bottles for all my squeezable items. On to part 2....
