  • Labai means Throw....

  • Labai or Labay (la-bye) means throw in the Cebuano dialect of the Philippines :)

  • 0:44 to get to the orange guys

  • @dunicht999 They're silver. lol

  • @dmoney69696969 sorry you´re right, but the behind its orange ;-P

  • Hit the space bar for slow-mo

  • what if the opponent doesn't trow a second punch and instead kicks? you just do the cock punch the best disabling move ever

  • @SataniKID If he kicks instead you step back and use his arm to whip him down and closer to you while you bring your knee up to his head, if that makes any sense at all

  • @SataniKID Dunno, I guess you could hook the guys other leg and trip him so he falls flat down.

  • Comment removed

  • I thought the guy in the beginning would kill the other one :O Damn.

  • LABAI means THROW...

  • Bullshit i promise you when you execute this move....theres no way in hell they just flip like that -_-

  • @iLLKookie You're just weak man... I am a Filipino, and we are ASIANS!!! =))) LOL. jk.

  • @elayda93 ....Too bad im a freshmen and i bench way over 220...

  • @iLLKookie nah.. you can do it man!! just believe.. you know kareem abdul-jabbar right?? he became a student of bruce lee if you did'nt know. =) NOT ABOUT THE SIZE MAN!!! =)))

  • @iLLKookie i benched ur mom on my dick haha

  • @risethrought328 Too bad she's in Monte Carlo you stupid fuck. Not to mention your parents don't love you.

  • @iLLKookie hmmmm your mom is away from you and my parents don't love me?

it seems like you are describing your parents : )

  • perfect police technique

  • then when the there on the floor a ferm kick in to the neck or shoulder whould deal a large amount of damage and make them most likely stay down

  • Silver surfer forgot to change his grip :/

  • after someone punches, who's going to leave their arm there so u can hold it? lol it looks like a Bourne move to me

  • Why does the silver one always win?

  • just grab his nuts and do the same (tits for women)

  • thumbs up if you can't here more of Bill's wrestling and football history -.-.

  • @rammsteingod666 -- can you make your head go further then your elbows?... really?.. I'd like to spar with you some time

  • this is retarded if someone grabs my hand im just gonna close the distance and start fucking them up with my free hand. just like hockey fighting

  • i was getting worried then i thought we wernt going to see the grey men

  • that techniques is nice

the problems with that is that you gotta to catch the opponents arms

  • @SW71ful Catching the opponents arms is a problem similar to parry punches, you just have to react fast enough. The thing is, you only do this if the opponents reaction is to punch you with his free arm, as soon as his other hand is trapped.

  • @SW71ful - Hardly. .. do a bit of chi sau and you'll be right... For this move to work correctly it requires a cross punch - if no cross punch comes just smashem

  • @SW71ful exactly much more easier just blocking their hits or dodging them

  • @SW71ful Wich is damn near impossible unless your fighting piss drunk people.

  • @Jahofnietdan2 you do it with the check

  • @SW71ful Also, if you notice in the video of the actual people, the person actually has to change his grip. I feel as if one can lose their grip of the other persons arm if you need to take time to change your grip. If you get what I'm trying to say.

  • that techniques is nice

  • try this at an mma match and see how it goes

  • @SandmanJAAE ... Is that before or after they suck each others dick?

  • @jolanscourage wtf?

  • You think thats good? Come here ill teach you the kamehameha!

  • This same throw is also called jujinage in Japanese martial arts.

  • Justin Bieber's penis is the size of the dislike bar. In Soviet Russia, the ground falls on you. Chuck Norris is somehow related to this incident. Rebecca Black sucks. Thumbs up if *insert obvious bullshit here*. My parents thought I was watching porn. 310 views and thousands of likes!? press 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 or 9 and thumbs up. I hate ads and I'm thankful that porn doesn't have them. I pee in the side of the bowl to make less noise!

Ther Now you only have to read one comment

  • @kidasterorig111 you forgot "add a bunch of common comments into one" cause what you did is pretty common too.

  • @kidasterorig111 you spelled there wrong.

  • @kidasterorig111 LOL. Dude that was awesome to read. But you forgot one.

  • @kidasterorig111 omg... what tha fuck are you talkin bout...? this has nothing to do with this video... why couldnt you just say... "WoW he landed preaty darn hard"! or... "Nice Lock!" or something about this video... fuckin retard...

  • @CyberKurajberUltimat Before we go to a heated debate which is something I really want to avoid i'll tell you.

This is actually just one of those random comments. I found these on another video and I thought some were funny or epic to read so I copied and paste the comment to this vid.

  • @kidasterorig111 oh... so you are a you tube troll... all is forgiven...

  • @CyberKurajberUltimat what's a troll

  • i think the instructor is wrong. Im not sure or maybe because hes just demonstrating it that makes it look wrong. The hand that pushes the opponent so he throws to the left needs to change position so it can push and throw. And while doing that, its easy to escape from the grip of that hand. But its really the other hand that actually do the pulling so the arms are twisted and the opponent has no other option but to throw himself away or break his arm.

  • 14 people fought for real at least once in their lives.

  • Bullshit I Dont Think Any Of This Guys Can Catch A Good Jab !

  • i hate when the fat nigga talks about my history of wrestling

  • We call that (when you get your arms crossed like that); "The Idiot Trap" hehe

  • dude it's Labai not Jabai

  • Labai = Throw

  • why this guy would punch by other hand same stupid style? he can pull his caught hand back or kick him...i dont lime this...its so lame...in 150 videos and nothing you learn from..

  • @canyouencore I've pulled this throw off once or twice, actually. It's hard to pull off because of that reason, but if you can get the arms in that position, it's a good move to know.

  • @xxSyphenxx it kind of hurts cause your twisting the arm onto the others arm elbow that applies preassure, that's what causes the trow

  • does it hurt? or does it just throw them down disabling them?

  • these grey guys wrote history thats why there on the history channel

  • So this relies on your opponent throwing a second punch at you after you have grabbed the other? Bit risky isnt it? leaving it to chance a little..what if they dont throw a second punch then what.

  • @LCStreetPhotographer

then use another combination. you don't have to do this all the time...

  • @GreatImperium Thanks. I mainly as im about to start training at the Portsmouth (England,UK) School Of Martial Arts having been a boxer for 21 years (started aged 7). There i'll be learning a complete blend based on Jeet Kune Do (Jeet Kune do concepts & principles) Jun fan kickboxing, Grappling (taken from Judo, BJJ and empty hand Kali) and the Filipino martial arts Including all aspects from silat/doce pares/pekiti tersia/arnis/escrima/kali...wanted to check and see if this was a good choice.

  • 0.20 seconds we call this entwinding snake but to throw your opponent this way its much much easier if you step close to him why'll simulteanously cranking his arm than way your using your body weight instead of just arm strength

  • IT WONT WORK ON PPL THAT ARE STRONGER

  • @bamdances thats why in eskrima u build ur grip later on

  • lebai nii yeee

  • only thing is, this is only a real throw when the other person cooperates to keep from having their elbows screwed up, i think in a real situation it would do more damage to the arms, much like many of the aikido techniques. only a throw if your partner cooperates, otherwise they tear things up.

  • @copypacercopypacer

    similitude man !!!

  • @Lounio1 related yes, copy no, similitude.............not neccesarily

  • @Lounio1 yes silat and eskrima are similar but eskrima is better

  • @copypacercopypacer

not battle lolbut silat i like 2 version one world public 2 destructor kill dead...

but i like and respect all martial art silat escrima muay thai muay boran AND BOKATOR !!! ^^

  • @Lounio1 escrima is many

  • COPY

  • @Lounio1 its not a copy, gtfo

  • TECHNIQUE MADE PENCAK SILAT !!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @Lounio1 like silat but not....kali or eskrima

  • like silat...

  • This won't work in real life. Period. If you rely on videos you see on the internet for self defense, You will probably end up dead. Go out have some krav maga, muay thai, or boxing lessons. Work on your fitness, building size, and learn to switch on maximum agression ready to give to anyone. Be aware of your surroundings, always be tactically switched on, and if you can escape from a situation before the shit hits the fan, do that.

  • @dude157

Yes this will work in real life because I've had personal experience in using it in an altercation. The techniques in fight science are all based on reality, and like I said, many of them have brought me success in real fights, not tournament based, but real fights. And I'm not trying to shoot you down, so don't take this as an insult by any means, but Krav Maga is pretty much crap. I've seen people get beat trying to use it, and these were people training with it. Personal experience.

  • @Lycan8484 Sure you have buddy. Yo do know there are impressionable people who will read this garbage, try it, and get beat up.

#1This move requires that the person attacking throws a big long right hand so you can see it coming from six weeks away, does not remotely try any kind of recoil from his punch, then for his second shot, drops his guard, loads up his shot by winding right back, throwing another punch, again with absolutly no recoil, or attempts to free his first hand.

  • #2 then to stand there for half a second and do nothing while the guy switches his grip around ready to throw you. If the person attacking you is that retarded at fighting, you would be better off with a simple jab cross combination ending the fight in under 1 second

  • @dude157 this art is good if you know how to do it

  • @copypacercopypacer Yes, but not this technique

  • @dude157 this technique is good but depends on what type of quick situation ur doing it on

  • @dude157 this technique is very effective

  • @dude157

Human Weapon. Sorry, didn't mean to say Fight Science.

  • sucks being the guy getting thrown

  • dude i saw this in the Bourn Movies. thats why i'm watching this.

  • @WWEfan275 it creates a fulcrum point at the elbows removing the center of gravity on your opponent to use their own weight to perform the throw, a lot like the concept of judo

  • @SuperAppMaster GOOD FOR YOU!! i can defend against any move you can do, every offense has a defense, every defense has a weakness, think of that before you start thinking your cool, and obviously you need better discipline, bragging is for the weak and simple minded

  • that shit wouldn't work unless ur light i couldn't see it happend unless u have very good arm strengh

  • Why didn't they do Jeet Kune Do -____-

  • lol i do wing tsun i can defend this XD

  • we have this in aikido i don tknwo what its called

  • Comment removed

  • @TheRogueMonk juji-nage

  • @Heteroskedastic yeah .. only done it a few times.. you cant just throw someone like that , you would break their arm .. its not a throw its a pin in truth.

  • @TheRogueMonk We've done it a few times in class. I think it's a throw actually (I believe that 'nage' refers to a throw) but unless your ukemi is good, you probably do risk breaking something. I don't like it but that's because my ukemi is crap.

  • @Heteroskedastic well i think a lot of the time NAGE is included because it can be athrow too but it doesnt need to be a throw .

we have like kaiten nage often the kaiten is not the throw but it lead sup to a throw..

we got tenchi nage .. which is a unblancing technique

the word nage in aikido to me is strange because in aikido your NOT supposed to throw people since your not supposed to harm them.. throwing is a characteristic of other martial arts where putting someone down is a goal

  • @Heteroskedastic therefore i think nage in aikido is more for the artistic expression and in actual form it should not be used to throw as much as its used to imbalance the opponent instead .. so the word nage i think is putt there from traditional aspect of the art. Nage is relative in my opinion and you should not throw people i fyour not supposed to harm them , which we arent in aikido

  • @Heteroskedastic the idea i am trying to say that i have is that its extremely hard to throw someone and not hurt them therefore nage in aikido is probably much more of a term then an actual nage from other martial arts where you pound someone to the ground... in aikido if you lay someone down it could be considered as a nage.. maybe because you COULD pound them to the ground if you wanted to.. this is a matter of philosophy of aikido wheter one chooses to go the highway or not.. nage is many

  • @TheRogueMonk Ah, okay. I think I get the issue. I think throwing in Aikido is not meant something like picking up uke and chucking him across the floor. Pre-war Aikido and its predecessors were not so much about harmonising with your opponent in the same way as people currently believe it does. It was a very martial art and used a counter to other grappling forms that all samurai knew. Focus was on subduing your opponent without unnecessary violence or drawing blood - as these were bad.

  • @Heteroskedastic you probably are talking about aikijujutsu.. in fact aikijujutsu does putt emphzise on ai.. harmony that is why they do harmonical tehcniques as well.. BUT i think ai, in aikido developed to become harmony between humans and ai became love also.. in a way i think morihei refined the AI in aikijujutsu .. into AI of even more principal then just ai of the jutsu . which means harmony with technqiue .. or harmoni "power" of technique.. in aikido it has turned into a DO.

  • @TheRogueMonk you may know that morihei ueshiba mainly developed aikido from aikijujutsu he had it his time the greatest and highest degree of aikijujutsu you could get.. later there were an even higher grade created.. but at his life time he attained the best and he thought with the founder Takeda for a good period of time.. many people may not agree with me but i think aikido is a verison of aikijujutsu.. many groups dislike this idea i presume..

  • @TheRogueMonk enjoy these series.. they are so harmonic and soft that i told my sensei that why we cant be like them in aikido

write "ogawa ruy aikijujutsu:" watch the series

the brige between aikido and other jujutsues are many .. more then we believe or think..

look at bujinkan or other war time wepons based martial arts that are japanese ..

aikido is not some NEW and esoteric martial art its real . and based in real wepon based martrial arts.

  • oah like Aikido

  • this would actually work in a street fight. most people who fight on the streets arent trained. so when you actually block and grab one hand, their primal instinct is to use the other. or kick you in the balls.

  • ugh guys its not gonna work in a street fight, in a street fight its too agitated and the person doesn't go in slow motion.. -_-

  • That would be an awesome secret handshake :P I'm gonna try this on the fag who kicks my seat in Science.

  • @pyrofriendflame000

Next time that idiot kicks your chair during science class, take you chair and smash it on his head........LOL...........just kidding

  • It's not Jabai Its labai, to throw...

  • Ya i'm Filipino and they teach this in HapkiDo as well.

  • @youngstunna79 oh yea i remember thanks it's been a while since I've actually practiced hapkido

  • we train that in aikido too...

  • this sucks it look easy it isnt

  • yawa ilabay hahaha!!! Labay means throw^__^

  • @WzxcvW

    taga asa ka brad?

  • muy buena tecnica ^^

  • that fat fuck bill is gonna dislocate someones arm if he doesnt slow down

  • Labay is a filipino word meaning "throw." Thats all it means. I could labay garbage into the trash can. This move is found in sooo many martial arts...

  • this technique is used when the enemy throws another punch... but if he doesn't another technique will be used....

  • Oh god, this move is ridiculous. So many ways for it to go wrong!

  • this one makes sense, atleast you're as far away from your opponent as possible,I hate when I do a throw and the other guy is fucking clinging to my shirt.

  • @Jinisinsane Good luck actually setting this up in a real fight though

  • @Jinisinsane u need to make sure that both his hands are grabbed LOL!

  • @Jinisinsane thats why i always figth shirtless ;)

  • thumbs up is the noise at 0:52 makes you think of transformers

  • @XSmexyLamaX Thumbs up if you think you suck for asking for thumbs up

  • @RomeoSOF2 hypocrite? hehe

  • @XSmexyLamaX Ohh, come on, dude. The thumbs up thing is getting pretty annoying =p

  • @RomeoSOF2 true

  • Break... AAAAHHHH

DAT'S why it's called Es- SCREAM! -ah, maddafuggah

  • where is human weapon Mortal Kombat Liu Kang Flying Forward Bicycle Kick???

  • ITS NOT JABAI ITS LABAY!! THERE IS NO WORD JABAI IN THE PHILIPPINES LOL

  • techniques are the same... but the applications are different... just do your own thing and let them do their own... thats called "the way"

  • labai means "to throw"

  • Same as Juji Nage or Cross throw in Aikido

  • In the 1st block the wrist grab is reversed which is weak. The CGI doesn't show this and the tech is weak w/o reversing the grip even though it's possible. It's better blk w/the left hand and guide it to the right hand, grabbing the wrist w/thepalm up. Then ur ready to go after the 2nd grab.

  • the hand grabbing position of the hand in the animation is wrong

  • @vikasbhardwaj007 how is it wrong?

  • @vikasbhardwaj007 actually it is quite right, if you hold with an inverted palm instead of an inside palm when the oponnent spins away he might break free from your grip =)

  • @gwidao123 watch the Escrima instructors handposition on the opponents forearm and then look at the animation. The animation has got it wrong.

  • Cute technique, but who the hell is going to let you do that to them?

  • @ChrisTeamProdigy Stupid people, the ones (like, 86% of all the people) who don't know martial arts, just look at street "fight" videos, you call that fighting? They just throw punches like a blind person, and then, you're able to do something like this, you even can force to do Labai, just push their arms in the right position, it's not like they have any strenght in their punches.

  • @ChrisTeamProdigy

"Oh shit, he caught me hand and he's holding it... Better throw my other fist at him in exactly the same fashion... That'll work.. Yeah!"

  • @Devianto Really this stuff looks good on paper but it's entirely flawed. You should never be letting your guard down like that. If someone grabs your hand, and you don't immediately react, then you need to train and develop some muscle memory. I would never let someone put me into any kind of hold or lock. Scratch, bite, knee, heel kick to the exposed knee cap, kick to the balls, spit in the face, head butt, palm to the nose, what ever you have to do.. don't be silly now

  • @ChrisTeamProdigy

what you just said summarizes my principles in fighting good man

  • UFC people are funny. Techinque, this would never happen in the UFC, etc.... How many UFC fighters are masters at Eskrima? If UFC is a sport like all the ones then the best are just freaks. Lebron James is at the level he is at not because of his skill but his unbelievable athleticism. Same for people like Dwight Freeney, Mike Tyson in his prime, and so on. If this didn't work ever then how did the move come about?

  • @nyciar Actually it's illegal in UFC because it's focused on killing your opponents not putting them in a lock or knocking them out. It was named in the top five most effective martial arts for the street and for self defense.

  • If a dude tried this in the UFC against a similar skilled and conditioned opponent, they would pull their first arm back before the guy could even hold on, and while the other guy is trying to hold him he would land a huge left hook or straight right.

Try this in a street fight and they will fight- not let you easily catch their hand, flee- pull their hand back to guard their face, or freeze- if you are really strong you can do this.

.... Not a very calculated risk.

  • @DJS12345678 ye that is a risk, but i acctually tried this out on a guy who tried to punch me and it worked (he was bigger than me and it took place on the street)

  • I think the the guys on Human Weapon and Fight Quest prove how full of crap a lot of these martial arts are and how out dated they are. With the exception of BJJ, Muay Thai, Judo, and the Army martial arts (out of the 10 plus I've seen), the techniques are largely useless in mixed martial arts because they are outclassed by other techniques, or in the case don't actually work against a real fighter because the other fighter doesn't let it happen (cont)

  • @DJS12345678 true its totally useless but there is a difference between an art and a fighting sport dont mix it up! BJJ is limited with one opponent with no weapons try fighting 10 guys with full of blades in their hands, BJJ techniques is useless, obviously their is a difference between a fighter and a warrior, a fighter fights and then withdraw in ther ring, a warrior goes to war and come back dead or alive to tell the story. a warrior does war arts and a fighter just fights for other reasons!

  • @macfimas what are you going on about, a "warrior" has nothing to do with this. You could just say, "oh, no martial art works anymore, because of jet planes, guns, and tanks"

There ARE martial arts that work on the battlefield and in the ring (pankration for example)

However in the context of my argument, your reply makes no sense, this technique DOES NOT WORK, in war, MMA or street fighting, and neither does most of the crap some of the arts use.

  • could you follow this up with a single arm bar, key lock and kimura? (not all at once obviously)

  • you spelt labai long in the title..just a heads up ^^

  • i know this is minor but you misspelled the video.

  • You have to have both views on self defense. Both traditional and sport. So you have discipline and full contact. Otherwise you have holes in your fight game. There must be balance.

  • I found the same thing, as in a street fight everything happens in a flurry like a furball of two cats mixing it up. Parry and counterpunch at the same time is more practical and functional. Grabbing the wrist and hoping for some sort of control to apply this technique wouldnt be practical in the speed that agression brings in realtime conflict. MMA would be as close as you get to real conflict, without eye gouging, groin shots, hair pulling and weapon use. It all comes down to the basics

  • Not happening in a street fight . . . :S

  • nver lift omeone over 160 especially if under the weight bcus my freind nick weighs that much and i cant lift him so id ratherbring him to the ground in a mma style

  • Robin tried t use this move on me last week... I kneed him. After he bent over I wrapped my arms around his back to his front, then lifted him up upside down and dropped him. He cried like a baby.

  • I don't know about this move... I don't think it would work on anyone larger than 115 lbs. It's not that easy to flip someone over like that. The demonstrator flopped as part of the demonstration and the silver surfer people... well... cmon... it aint real physics.

I mean if i managed to get a grown mans wrists in that position and tried to flip him using his arms, he would probably stand their laughing at me and headbutt me

  • @AQUIETMOISTURE That's a Chen style of Wing Chung move.

  • ok. I personly have caught a 17yr olds fist when he punched at me.

and have blocked around 10 punches from an inebriated 30yr old whilst high off m head. litraly stumped out the splif nd got attacked.

i am a 15yr old male. if ou train. these techniks work. ther not for the show-of-seen-it-1nce-so-now-i-know-it- kinda people.

  • thats a trifecta!

  • i laughed

  • this technique preposes, that the attacker will cross the other hand over the hand that is already trapped...one thing that every good martial artist knows, is a NO NO!

  • thats how we kill npa back the in the philippines

  • u can get an armbar from that position but i wudnt break the arm :(

  • the bald guy was a wrestler? O_o

  • fake as shit...
