  • there are 2 more versus,

    I will ask Jesus to help me,

    To keep my heart from Sin;

    Ever reflecting His Goodness/

    And Always shine for him,

    I`ll be a sunbeam for Jesus--

    I can if I but try--

    Serving him moment by moment,

    Then live with him on high.

    Great Job on the 2 versus you have, I dont know the song book you have, but these 2 versus are in sacred songs and solos, book is at least 39 years old :/

  • ah, Nice! the songbook I am singing this from is the "Children's Songbook" of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. It's a "new" (1989) edition of the prior children's songbook ("Sing With Me"), and it includes a few more songs and the guitar chords to every song, and chord charts in the back - most excellent upgrades.

  • I found this in one of mu hymn books, my nan used to sing it to me as a child, ~ You sing it very well and should in a choir !

  • thank you for the kind words! I have sung in the church choir from time to time, but right now my work + drive schedule is such that I need Sundays (choir practice day) to be at home and chill/relax/do stuff for myself and with my family.
