  • Say goodbye to keyids who ain't smart!

  • Welcome to the new world!!!

  • Nas is on another level

  • THEY DONT GIVE MY NIGGA THE CREDIT HE DESERVES

  • what killahak said. the cia got rid of jfk. bill clinton is new world order style sell out. RIP JFK

  • He was on another level with this album. This album put him in a class all by himself. It should have gotten 5 mics. Pure classic. This is the album that Nas learned how to master his technique of rocking over pop or commercial songs , although this album was hard as hell.

  • NEW WORLD CHANGES THE WORLD AND REFRESH THE MEMORY.THANK YOU NAS!

  • Dude sample is so sick .

  • its crazy how nas uses a 70s pop song and still makes it sound good toto africa is the name of the song

  • and this is Nas' worst album? damn!

  • @imeeting His worst album is much better than best Jay-Z album. Sorry if you is a Jay-Z fan, it's my opinion.

  • @MarcioFilhoMs Nahh man i actually dont like jay-z. youre completely right, but this is his worst album because he had like 6 months to do it and tried to go mainstream. dont get me wrong though, there are some great songs on here!

  • @imeeting I agree!

  • @imeeting I used to believed that lie, it's the same way Illmatic is supposed to be his best right, I tell ppl all the time art is relative, u can't make blanket statements like that b/c ppl have different tastes, nd which critic is gonna tell me what to like, as for him trying to go mainstream, sun has always been on a major, they also have a say in what songs make it on to a Lp, 1 song doesn't make an album commercial, even though U Owe Me still brings the chics to the dance floor to this day

  • Thank you me2ubeguy

  • nas has never made a bad song or album NAS=realest

  • @sickbizzle2 oochy wally..lol

  • Africa by Toto being put to good use!

  • Nas is okay but he's nothing compared to akon, lil wayne,& rihanna.Nas probly knows all these people.& realizes they're better than him. It's true nigga.

  • @peter48819 HELL NO, THAT IS JUST PLAIN DUMB, NAS IS THE BEST RAPPER TO EVER BLESS A MICROPHONE

  • @peter48819 Are you fucking retarded nigga?

  • @peter48819 comparing nas to akon, li'l wayne and rihanna?

    are you on crack??

  • @peter48819 how can u even say this u know that aint true, lil fake better then nas?rihanna? sche cant sing you should hear her live akon is bla men you cant even compare them 2 nas

  • @peter48819 joke right? lmfao? everybody is better then lilwayne listen lilwaynes freestyle on westwood and justin biebers freestyle.. justin bieber is even better then that fag and how u gonna compare a singer to a rapper? damn ur gay..

  • @peter48819 LOL man just LOL...

  • @peter48819 yo bro are you ok in ure head m8? lil waynes shit, akon sounds like a 12 year old girl. Ure gna compare Nas to rihanna? LOL how can u compare them? its like comparing a dog to a cat no comparison, plus rihanna is only good for sucking dick....and shes illuminati go fuck ureself...LONG LIVE NAS NIGGA

  • @Burky12793 Well everyone is entitled to their own oppinion bro, while I dissagree. And also, no way rihanna is illuminati. Genious' keep it running, she is an average person. Plus if we didnt have this system we would have chinas system and get killed for having a daughter.

  • @dragunovful u disagree wid him or me? and i know every1 is entitled to their opinion so im giving mine lol

  • @peter48819 WOW just..LOL WOWWW!

  • 20 11 NEW WORLD I LOVE THIS!!!!!!

  • AHEAD OF ITS TIME TELL'EM NAS

  • Nas is the nicest forever. Forget being a don, he is a lyrist and all these artist now cant even exist in his presense moreover features. Whch wack artist have you seen him collaborate with. name one ****. Im waiting. Should tell you doensouth rappers something.

  • this has always been one of my favorite nas albums, his intellect and substance on the album is impeccable, i love hearing truth and wisdom, nas is so incredible, way ahead of his time, happy new years peace love and much success to everyone

  • watch ur mouf whoeva sayz dis album aint shyt cuz he touchd on more shyt n dis album than ur favorite rappr did n 3 albums. da beatz dont make dis nigga great. hiz sellz dont make dis nigga great. itz hiz lyriqual content n da numba of different topikz he verbally annihalatez evry otha rappr wit.

  • @GrownNtuitionz Word, nas the illest. Nas spits that street poetry like no other, he's the definition of an MC. He always keeps it a 100, I respect the cat.

  • fuck this album. I like god's son and stillmatic, they are so much better, illmatic of course too.

  • I'm going to play this on saturday morning.

    Happy New Year y'all.

  • cool song.:)

  • You know a MC got skill when his "worst album" is better than any of the bullshit coming out today.

  • @madhash83 is this acctually considered his worst album?

  • @TheHoffmanHouse Yeah, in comparison to all his other albums this was the most commercial and most nas fans aren't fans of commercial. I liked the album though, I think a lot of fans of hip hop want their favorite artists to stay exactly how they were when they first came on the scene but if the artist is successful then they will rhyme about the things success brings and I don't see a problem with that. They might be your favorite rappers/MCs but they're still human.

  • @lilnizzy22 wth u smokin that would make u say something like that

  • nas is talking to you about nwo in this song dame he s a fucking prophet

  • Much of this shit came into fruition. If he wasn't predicting, it was something he got hold of back then. Solar powered cars, though, was something I have to accredit to just that futuristic vision.

  • THIS IS A CLASSIC ALBUM PAL?

  • 2 hits away from being a classic album

  • AFRICA! Nice job 4 tha up

  • Pure lyrical genius.

  • Sample is Toto - Africa

  • One of the most underrated Nas tracks......?

  • wasnt this originally some chicks beat?

  • @pimpinmyplaya92 rofl. toto - africa

  • Nastradamus also predicted the inevitable "Tupacalypse"...

  • Comment removed

  • He was telling people that y2k wasn't a threat; and that the real threat was these corporations. He says "computers aint that smart whatever man built can be taken apart" and people wasted their money on these corporations because they thought the world was about to end over a computer.

  • best lyrist alive.. done

  • the africa beat is ill though

  • This album wasn't that bad at all Nas still had a shitload of gems through out it

  • but its called It's Just Crazy on his tape.

  • DJ Screw introduced me to this song. JUNE 27 tape.

  • NaS!

  • i know alot of people are going to hate on me saying this. but everyone has their own opinion.

NaS will the best LYRICIST I have ever came across in my 30 years.

  • Bill clinton new JFK?..Nigga please Fuck bill clinton that corupted fuck

JFK found a way to stop alot of shit gov didnt like that so they 187 him..

  • @killahakcrobatikz When he compared Clinton to JFK, I think he was comparing how both were received by blacks. No disrespect.

  • @pabz10

    Shutup you piece of shit

  • @pabz10 not trying to say you're slow. but if you got the theme you wouldn't say that. The album is called Nastradamus. Nostradamus was a man who predicted things in the future, and talked about things in the future. that's what Nas is doing. it's the theme

  • i love this song nas is untouchable no1 makes music like nas hes is hip hop

  • This The best version of this beat

  • @OhMyGolem do u know what is the original version? who is the singer??

  • @Martita195 Im not sure :D i've heard this somewhere

    :D Nas is da best

  • where is the video for this song

  • From which song this beat ?

  • toto - africa

  • @Crackhead735 The beat is off africa - toto

  • @spea93 also Xzibit - heart of men

  • a very sick song. the closest that came to pac. nas is lyrically the hardest that ever did it. notorious ain't got shit on nas.pac too, but pac was way ahead of it all by far. he came with it like the fresh air and new breath for mankind.nas

  • no IQ gangsta nigga...

  • ya'll niggas better get ready, the song is telling you "stop thinking with your brains and start using your minds"

  • This song brings back so many memories. My twin sister put me on to this song, around the time when everybody was nervous about the Y2K thing. As soon as the ball drop, we kept this song on repeat. R.I.P to my twin sister because she died not too long ago after this song came out.

  • New world ORDER

  • yup

  • FUCK A NWO

  • i have friends who sell drugs. I feel bad for them. I know what there going through. It is a pretty emotional thing to do because you see the pain you are bringing to people and see the addiction face to face, you see that they will do anything for you just to get the next fix. And you are also right about there stance the drug dealers i know usally look pretty gloomy, a look of sorrow in there eyes but they also look like they are trying to hide there real emotions. They know they are murderers

  • It isn't their fault man, what else can they do? I had to sell dope for 2 years, but then I was like fuck it because every night i was out there I was shitting bricks cuz every nigga I saw walk by me I would assume as someone trying to kill me. Life is just ironic like that man, theres no gain without loss, It's all a painful cycle of tears and pain, you start out as a helpless entity, without teeth, needing constant help, in a diaper, and no hair. Is that not what you are when you get older?

  • Thats the truth anf im glad you stopped selling.

  • spoken like a true G

  • Gangsta Bush cam frm the planet Namek ..

  • damn africa by toto in the back goes perfect with this song

  • Nas was talking bout Conflict Diamonds years ago before Kanye and em..

  • Nas > Kanye

  • ye no shit.. kanye is nuttin compared to nas.

  • its a predicition. he is not promoting. it comes down to this: we re all fucked!! xD

  • It is time for a New World Order of Harmony. Back to simplicity. No more money. Namaste

  • I remember when I first heard this song, it was back in 1999 when the Media had ppl scared of the Y2K thing. My Twin sister put me on to this song, she said it was a beautiful song. We played this song all day after the ball drop on New Years Eve. My Twin died almost a year later after this song. Eveytime I hear this song, I think about that New Years Day back in 1999.

  • @Darkdun69 wow...im really sorry to hear about your twin. Happy 2011! enjoy life..salam

  • @Darkdun69 where,was,god,so,you,only,have,a,memory,at,your,sister,it,s,sad,ok,you,got,to,go,on,with,your,life,succes,angelxxx

  • this song needed a music video

  • so creative

  • Nas best rapper alive. one love

  • he's such a lyricist

  • Why this track gets hate I have no idea. PEOPLE ARE BLINDED BY THE MEDIA. Listen to the track and decide for yourself if you like it or not. He spits ill shit on this.

  • Illmatic best hip hop album of all time .

    i like this song

    Toto's "Africa" is the sample

    mannn memoriez

  • wow, are anybodies rhymes as complex as nas, and if so they prolly dont flow like him

  • No one else can rap like nas.. He's one of the kings in hiphop..

the nastradamus is not the best album of nas, but this track is bangin' son.

  • Sick track, Nas can do no wrong. Plus his producer sampled one of my favourite songs.

  • 2pac also talked about his problems and other stuff.

  • and who wants 2 hear about his problems i didnt say nas talks bout his ptobz i said he talks about real life situations and shit goin on ryte now 2pac cant talk bout tht now can he

  • Comment removed

  • who cares if he didnt anyway he raps really good.

  • What u mean he neva seen any drug in his life when his mom was a crack head? But if you mean he's neva sold drugs then good...I guess he was smart enough not to

  • It was sarcasm first of all, but i do admire pac for not selling drugs. Just dislike the fact that he rapped about it.

  • How do u kno he didnt?

  • @JRoss911 pac never sold drugs, trust me

  • You're actin like only killers or somethin sell tho...i kno plenty of ppl who do and they not even thug like dat..he might of juz done it small time juz 2 get a lil pocket change

  • but he rapped about it like he did it full time, i'm done with this convo because i could really give a damn what that man did

  • Why did this nigga have to sample Toto? It ruins the track, but Nas is dope.

  • Nas is a regular nigga but when it comes to rapping, it could take a award winning author years to write something as meaningful as a nas verse

  • this is such a good track

  • genius.

  • no the genius is gza =p but nas is still good as hell he is my 2end favorite rapper

  • whos ya 1 favorite nas

  • GZA

  • Nas should remember what his mother taught him, remember his true roots. A rapper always will want an MC as a friend so as the can be respected. Reason why Jay was always asking NAS to feature on his songs. Why WC and Mac 10 move with Ice cube. Reason why Xbox makers want Nintendo's shine. But eventually the real shine through. Thus this track right here fam is banging.

  • @Wilzehagawa stfu "Nas should remember what his mother taught him" as if you knew him / her . Stop writing shit that doesn't make sense. YEAH ALL RAPPERS WANT MCS AS FRIENDS WTF DOES THAT MEAN.

  • @chopstix720 yeah i have no idea wtf this kid is talking about

  • @bG3aZu3bLaZe3 Learn the heart and Soul of HipHop and you shall see why people put a thumbs up next to my comment. Its simple ancient Israel and Egyptian Wisdom. Straight from Heaven and that is word.

  • @Wilzehagawa u been trying to smoke the album ? cos u speakin some random shiz

  • @juzblazejr Yeah bro! At times I feels like I am blazing this Cheeba of an album for it is that good ish. NAS hiphop personified.

  • Even if you say he stepped to the Masonic dark side we can still get him back. As much as the devil may try this world belongs to Jehovah, and don't think I am talking about evil blasphemous big lipped Jay Z here. I am talking about Jesus, I and them's Dad. Real Christians not roman mythology. Real is real the devil has already fallen.

  • Yes indeed, we are nothing without him. Eventually, or more often than people admit you meet your maker and his wise ways. Have a blessed day. Nice thing is that he does not stop loving us, Jehovah the true one that is.

  • ZAJEBISTY KAWALEK!!

  • On sum real shit, it sounds like he talkin Bout the NWO. ALOT

  • I never meet Nas before but I know we would get along very well, I'm just a white guy 21 years old

But so many lines and I understand what he means, and my favorite one is

Covertly startin wars, CIA, NAVY Seals

Commit larcenies that be worth over mil's

The U.S is the new nazi's they take over countries by overthrowing gorverments and putting someone in charge that will abide by their rules

I advise everyone to watch "confesions of an econimic hitman"

Nas knows what this world is

  • I kno exactly what yu talkin bout.

  • I FEEL YOU KID

  • this is a great track, but this album isn't my favourite Nas album

  • this was 1 of his best shit and this was 4 new year 2000 tell that......

  • The sample was "Africa"-Toto

  • i love this song

  • its like i've heard this beat before. did he sample a song?

  • yes he did i forgot the name of the original beat but yes it was sampled

  • ok i thought so. i remember the beat from true crime ny city lol. it was a song by boo ya tribe i think. but i could be wrong

  • The sample is Toto - Africa

  • thanks man

  • we r gods of this world . . and what we do whit this world ? nas is so right. truth

  • I have to agree with Skateboardedomx this album what horrible same with this track.

No doubt he is pretty much the best. he still in my top 5.

  • yes sir nas!!! it's a beautiful song's

  • Just don't listen to his music at lest the man is doing something positive with his life. Instead criticizing people on youtube like 90% of you fuckin people do

  • the fact that this is track 13 probably went over yall heads, and the fact that his last album cover is the ONLY time he shows his back as opposed to his face escaped you all aswell...'say goodbye to the kids who are NOT smart..'

  • what does 13 mean, i know it's something to do with a masonic symbol or something. whats does him showing his back mean? he's hiding the truth?

  • nas= lyrical genius

  • wtf how is nastradamus a bad album i listened to it this is a very slept on cd ppl shuld stop listenin to critics n juss buy it

  • I've had it for years and i got every nas album.. It's just my least favourite of his whole catalogue... tracks; family, god love us, life we chose and come get me are all nice tracks but there are too many weak ones on it

  • Hi does anyone know what song the backing track is origanally from??? iv heard it beore but can put my finger on it!

  • africa by toto

ja rule also sampled it for murder reigns
