Nice playing! Like it a lot. You really need to play in a room with better acoustics and tell people in the background not to jump in and out of the video. Also it helps if someone not keep dropping things on the floor or what have you. You do play with a punch which is great, it shows confidence in your technique and playing. Also, I like your duende.
@TheSilent333 thank you very much for that comment, believe it or not a commitment to continuously post videos on youtube also forces you to push yourself. it has been a huge part of my learning process.
@duendesoul As soon as I once again posess a guitar, I plan on finally getting over myself and just posting what I can play. I think the encouragement, critiques, and other advice might advance my playing as well. Thank you again for your continual posting. Keep it up!
I like the sound of your gitar. The sound came from deep. You said that it was not a real flamenco guitar but it seems real. Is it handmade guitar? If handmade from which luthier? I will be pleased if you share with me.
By the way we want more bulerias videos from you :)
Awesome playing. I see the Paco and Pepe influences. However I see many more of your own. After all, thats ultimately what its about. Lots of Duende ,Thanks for posting. P.S do you have any c.d,s?
Oleeeee Dori...I recognize some influences of Juan. My dad has played with him. I can see you have an extra sound hole? Can you hear it better then? Un beso! Ingrid
Hi Ingrid, I think the fact that you have exposure to some great artists is well reflected in your interpetation of the baile as you interact with your cuadro I have a much respect to you. I actually have 2 extra holes in the guitar, the top helps me hear better, the bottom I put a microphone in when I play shows - but also this make the sound of the guitar a little more "dry". of course, if this was a REAL flamenco guitar I would not make these adjustments.
This is great playing duende i love the last bit because i am listening much to vicente again lately. it is from callejon de la luna right. that piece takes me trough space and time and back on the ground watching to the beautifull sky of the night.
i bet in some time and with a band you can give people the similar musictrip.
thanks, yes the last section from Vicente. I'm currently working with 2 dancers and a percussionist so I REALLY need to shift my focus to accompaniment and cante and not worry so much about playing one more vicente or chicuelo falseta. cheers:-)
Accompaniment and cante is a good thing, i think it is important that in certain times during developpement of music we need to stop focussing and in my case also overpractising and wanting more then i can.
Music has much mental progress too that is needed and i think that in accompaniment and cante you learn much during and you get much material for tought too, its great man keep on!
