  • Wow! I pulled out an old diary and came across a reference to this song - one of my almost forgotten favourites from the late 70's - I used to listen to this LP enlessly. Thank you so much for sharing one of his unheralded masterpieces. FYI - It was near impossible to find with the Mason Maybe title- and you're the only one to post it as far as I can see! I'll check out your other stuff. Agree with every word you said above.

  • Are you dreaming are you screaming for reward? .....so 'tis my song I:ve been touched 35 years ago, still does the longlasted magic.

  • Oh My!!! I love this song so much. I went to this concert in 1975, It was so great! I I am sooooo happy that I found this ..... Thank you for bringing me back.......

  • great song!

  • Amazing song ! Great lyrics with lots of meaning.

    Another Dave Mason underrated masterpiece.

  • Played this song a 1000 times and never get tired of it.

  • I agree with Pstephanak~ I also grew up in the 70's and have been a fan of Mr. Mason since the late 60's.. I had the pleasure of attending many of his concerts~ Lord!! Those were the days!! He is by far one of the greatest gutair players.. Right up there with Mr. Clapton, Alvan Lee ( Ten Years After) and of course Mr. Jimi Hendricks~

  • bella cancion

  • "Close the door to all that is negative"...what a great song with mesmerizing melodies.

  • Just don't make them like this anymore...pure heart and soul at its best...not to mention a talented guitarist/singer/songwriter...a seriously underrated artist for sure.

  • This is one of my favorite songs from my youth. It was music like this that made me take up the guitar. Dave Mason was so under-rated. He had a few really good hits that got a lot of radio play, but if you listen to all of his music, you'd appreciate how good he was, and is. I'm so glad I was in high school in the early 70's.

  • Love Him. Brings back old memories! Linda

  • Goin' to see him this Friday, front row at Tupelo in Salisbury. Can't wait. Wonder if I'll see Trem there.
