  • How is it a transltion when its translated into the same lanugae

  • Dude you even hear him say white hole! I guess it means something in japanese but it sounds so pervy!

  • Nu bliver der ballade! Og der vanker flade! Vi beskytter verden mod det rene kaos! Og smållige hensyn lægger vi bag os! Vi fordømmer tro håb og kærlighed! Rækker hånden op og trækker stjernerne ned! Jassie! James! Team Rocket vi trykker den af så bare pas på! overgiv jer nu for vi er bare for rå! Meowth hallo!

I'm too used to it in danish xD

    Aww, childhood memories... ~w~

  • Actually, the English dub is similar in some ways. The "truth and love" bit is there, and the 3rd and 4th lines are kind of similar. But this is much better than 'prepare for trouble and make it double'.

  • I feel kinda bad for whoever had to translate this to english!! just think-they had to follow the tune and make it sound cool and kinda similar too!! Must've been a pain...

  • Love their Japanese names :)

  • yes musashi kojiro and nyarth

  • musashi? kojiro????? WTFFFFFFFFFFFFFF

4KIDS LIED TO ME ONCE AGAIN!!!11 WHOLE CHILDHOOD IS RUIND!!!!!!!11111

  • White hole?

  • @MaskedMenace830 Couldn't find the meaning behind it but yes, "white hole".

  • @Shadowfox026 フワイト ホール (huwaito ho-ru, white hole) Your translation is spot on.

  • @Shadowfox026 A white hole is something though of as the "other end" of a black whole, where everything sucked in is spat back out, typically as intense radiation, giving it a white color. None of these have ever been discovered and it's not a widely accepted idea, but I think that's the gist of it.

  • @draconicsorcerer Ah, thank you

  • @MaskedMenace830 I white hole is practically the exact opposite of a black hole.

  • @MaskedMenace830 white hall

hall and hole are writed ホール

  • i am going to do this in my Gaara cosplay with my friend cosplay Roxas <3

  • Seeing this, the original English voice actors really didn't sway too far away from the Japanese voices.

  • Awesome!

  • I can't find the Japanese version of this show anywhere!! Can someone help me out?

  • @maybear97 Are you after English subs or are fine with raws?

  • @Shadowfox026 well, english subs would b appreciated.... but I just really and truly wanna see the original japanese version, so...

why? r u gonna post the episodes? that'd be soooo cool!!! XD

  • @maybear97 The episodes exist out there, at least for season one but not all of them (especially season one) are subtitled. "PM subs" does a bunch of Japanese Pokemon episodes and is looking to sub the older releases too, so it's worth looking them up.

  • @Montesama lol penetrate

  • Humanda Na Sa kaguluhan. At Doblehin Nyo Na Pa Para Iligtas Ang Mundo Sa Pagkawasak! Para Pagkaisahin Ang Bawat Mamamayan! Para Pairalin Ang Pag-ibig At Katotohanan! • haha

  • LOL james actually sounds respectable in the Japanese version.

  • @orgasplosion i know rite?

  • white hole huh? hm.....

  • i want to watch the japanese version of the series, but i cnt find it >3<

  • @manhidnatao It's really hard to find but definitely out there.

  • @Shadowfox026 its ok i found it :))))

  • @manhidnatao try animefreak.tv

  • @shadowphantom43 Hey, is this site safe? I'd go there to watch Pokemon and stuff, but I'm nervous about those sites due to viruses and stuff. :(

  • @Morty2264 very safe. i stay on it all the time

  • @Montesama Yeah, it's a little weird. I've come across a lot of translation and they tend to vary around those particular words. Likely because Japanese needs to be read in context and is different when translated word-by-word and different translators taking it different ways, etc. Either way, the two versions are similar but not-so-similar in a confusing way.

  • @Montesama Do you mean only those words? You have to think of the phrasing of both the official and standard translations. The English dub makes them seem more as people who are looking for a fight "Prepare for trouble!" whereas the Japanese version has them announcing themselves only when asked. Also, while the English duo /denounces/ the evils of truth and love, the Japanese duo perpetuate it - a clear difference there.

  • They are just like Saturos and Menardi from Golden Sun, except they are not as cool (though with Japanese voices they sound cool): Red/Blue composing a unity. Masonic, I suspect. Red lodge, blue lodge. Red pill, blue pill. Mario, Superman and Spiderman are red and blue.... Many flags have red and blue.... There's much more to say, but you guys are not here for the truth, but for entertainment. Back to it, then!

  • NYA NYA NA!!

  • God damn their voices become so BADASS!

  • GET BACK TO MAKING ROBOTS.

  • Japanese or not, the motto gets tiring xD!

  • James said "White hole" ROTFL!

  • suuure. whatever you're into. leave me alone.

  • @tthir15 English version is for 6 year old kid wannabes. Japanese version is badass and for all ages. You don't even need to understand it! Fuck English version though

  • when you kids grow up i hope you'll leave pokemon for more "mature" anime. else i'll call you a retard

  • @tthir15 Fuck you. Anyone can like pokemon. (unless you're talking about the newer episodes)

  • @tthir15 sure kid. whatever your in to

  • @tthir15 Pokemon isnt for just kids. We grew up watching pokemon and its not a bad thing to re-live our childhood by watching it again.

  • @tthir15 Anyone can watch Pokemon!! Its like Sailor Moon or Powerpuff Girls (Z)! You think its for little kids at first, but once you start watching it again, you realize why you loved it in the first place!! :) Its for people of all ages.

  • Man, Meowth's voice sounds even more annoying in Japanese!

  • @ShinyUmbreon13 You should hear him sing :D

  • @Shadowfox026 Yeah I did, and I got extra-soundproof earplugs!

  • @ShinyUmbreon13 I did, and nearly died doing it!

  • @ShinyUmbreon13 Well, he IS a cat that basically taught himself how to speak. If anything, that voice is more accurate.

  • Ah Musashi Kojiro... marvelous! I love this veriosion. Yes much, much more than english or polish.

  • NYA-NTE NA!

  • Hmm, I think I like the English dubbed better ^_^ perhaps that's because I can understand it hehe

  • Jesse and James are Musashi and Kojiro? :p

In feodal Japan, Miyamoto Musashi and Sasaki Kojiro are rivals.

  • I hear that's exactly where their names have come from. Also, Jessie's mother was named Miyamoto in a special Pokemon radio drama, so their names have indeed come from those two ancient swordsmen.

  • I heard in English their names came from a Bandit or criminal who's name was Jessie James.

  • @lumlane Hoever, Jesse James & Butch Cassidy two bad cowboys xD. Something in it...

  • @lumlane I kind of like how in the english version, all the team rocket members are named after famous outlaws of the old west, (Jesse and James are Jesse James, and Cassidy and Butch are Butch Cassidy) I always have thought of the old west as America's version of legend.

  • @lumlane Wow, that's interesting! Thanks for telling us that! And in the English version, Jessie and James I think were related to the criminal, Jesse James. Or something along those lines.

  • ok with that deep voice I can't believe its james

  • Lol. The initial Pokemon episodes in English had a deep voice close to this, but decided it would be better for the audience if it was changed to something more comical. I supposed it suited the mass cross-dressing scenes going on.

  • Comment removed

  • @Shadowfox026

I always thought it was much more funny when his voice was deep and he cross dressed. Now it's just stereotypically dull. I still love them though. They will always be my favorite villains in any show or cartoon.

  • Same here. Team Rocket forever!

  • @ReloadPsi they make a talking meowth toy

    I WANT IT

  • THERE EVEN AWESOMER IN JAPANESE

  • Kinda disappointing, but they say pretty much the same thing in English as they do in Japanese....

  • WOW AWESOME

  • I've never heard it in Japanese! Interesting!

  • that's so cool thank you ^^
