@supermec131 Sorry, no I have not read the book, though I have read many of the classics though one cannot read them all.

If your question alludes to that many film versions of classic literature do not quite capture the original work then I must agree,

But still I like it ,it is a fine film that I like very much .My apologies if I read too much in your rather terse comment.
