I've been offered jobs from large companies because of my level design skill. But I never would have been able to do it without learning to Mod.

@motresmagoo The point of it is, what this guy created is a small modification to a large game. My mods are only called Mods because they use other engines. What this guy has done is change one line of hex coding to play as the Grunt in Halo. The games that we create are large scale and the equivilant to games like Dead Space with the amount of detail we spend every single day working on.

@motresmagoo I have started modding with a portfolio of 9 years work. I'm currently 18. And yes, you are highly capable of making mods and games at a very young level. My first mod to a game was changing a texture to a Warthog in Halo. And now I'm doing lead level design for one of the largest Half-Life 2 Mods available. I started when I was 9, and now look where I am.
@motresmagoo I started off with some level design for Command and Conquer games, then moved onto modding. When I was 10 I began using 3Ds Max to model level design and adapt them for Halo.
Finally when I was 11 I picked up Half-Life games adn basically I just started using Source SDK and hammer from there. =D

@motresmagoo I have started modding with a portfolio of 9 years work. I'm currently 18. And yes, you are highly capable of making mods and games at a very young level. My first mod to a game was changing a texture to a Warthog in Halo. And now I'm doing lead level design for one of the largest Half-Life 2 Mods available. I started when I was 9, and now look where I am.

@motresmagoo I started off with some level design for Command and Conquer games, then moved onto modding. When I was 10 I began using 3Ds Max to model level design and adapt them for Halo.
Finally when I was 11 I picked up Half-Life games adn basically I just started using Source SDK and hammer from there. =D

@bobyblue12 When i punch you see a spartan's hand because when halo 2 was created, they never created a first person grunt hand because you play as masterchief throughout the whole game. I am not a douche, i do not mod anymore i made this video when i was 9 or 10. I am 13 now and i play xbox 360.
