  • Leave my family alone those are my great great cousins ok so leave them alone yes one commuted sucide but that's not your problem

  • The wrestling world is worst than the Porn world...

  • What year was this?

  • @frankktillery82

I'd say 1993 since they said Kerry had just died

  • @SethH1982 Thank you.

  • It seems like the wrestling world is just pure destructive. No other sport has so many tragedies.

  • i remember the von erichs. the claw was awesome

  • Kerry I think was the best

  • SCREW FRITZ, he pushed his kids into any early grave !

  • wow :(

  • Sad sad sad. Should never have happened that way. But life can be hard. Fritz lived his life with regrets and some of them deserved, but absent parenting as a result of the wrestling schedule always plays a part in the slow destruction of the family and the Von Erichs were no different.

  • Sad sad sad. Should never have happened that way. But life can be hard.

  • It makes you appreciate what youve got watching this. How tragically unlucky can one Family be?

  • makes you wonder just what the hell fritz did to his sons to make them all want to die. there's more to this story than they are letting on.

  • I never understood why Kerry killed himself I know he was looking at jail time but so what the Von Erichs could do no wrong his stint in jail would most likely be over looked and no one would have cared.

  • @tempo1889 pretty easy to understand, he was being indicted on prescription drug charge which violated the probation on another charge which probably would of meant a hell of a jail sentence just because he was a von erich doesn't mean he was going to get a reduced sentence for christs sake. let alone having your brothers off themselves would of been incredibly hard to take over the years.

  • @669ELGUAPO I didn't mean overlooked by the law I meant by the fans sorry I should have clarified that.

  • @tempo1889 ahhhhhhh makes more sense now no worries man. just a damn shame for this family though can only imagine how different things would be had they not done what they have done

  • @669ELGUAPO No prob glad we are on the same page now. If anyone ever asked me when the first time was I got a glimpse of the real world this would be it. I recall my Mother trying to explain to me what suicide was and my struggling to match up the man who I saw win the Intercontinental title live at SummerSlam who was all smiles and looking like it was the best day of his life with the explenation of suicide that was being told to me.

  • Man I feel For Kevin I got 4 younger cousins and they are like brothers to me I could not stand it if I lost those boys Kevin you are a true Hero for staying around

  • thank god for lacey von erich,she is beautiful....thank u fritz :D

  • I don't remember the von erichs for their deaths, I remember them for the lives they lived! they were legends then and they are legends now! They live on in our hearts and our memories! Von Erichs Forever!!!!!

  • @Christydianne1 Very well said !

  • R.I.P.Mike,Chris,David,Kerry,and Papa Fritz...

When David visited Japan, he was discharged from a hospital of Texas, and it was the tenth day.

According to the announcement by AJPW, the cause of death of David was liver function disorder.

AJPW did not announce an intake career of his drug at all.

Japanese Immigration Bureau is very severe.

On this account most of wrestlers get impossible to enter the country unless they conceal an intake career of a drug.

  • What happened to the first four?

  • @pomegranateish

David- died of an illness in Japan (some contest it was a drug overdose).

    Mike- commited suicide by overdosing.

    Chris- commited suicide by gunshot.

    Kerry- commited suicide by gunshot.

  • @acehighpat Kerry Von Erich was the "Texas Tornado" in the WWF. He was even an Intercontinental Champion.

  • @AaronBruceLadner Yes he was. My friends and I were all excited because we lived in the southwest where World Class Championship Wrestling was broadcast. However, Kerry had a drug problem, and it cost him that push. A lot of wrestlers could have gone farther is they stayed away from the drugs.

  • I have this on tape somewhere. It was a big deal. I remember it being on.

  • Yes the family is exactly of like the Kennedys, even acted like the kennedys one of the reasons world class wrestling died

they were money hungry, had unlimted amounts of power in texas as of wrestling and it all falls down on that family

I remember as a kid watching AWA, early WCW, and WWF and all of wrestling and still to this day i do

Also the family all of them deserves to go in the hall of fame

  • If any positives are drawn from this,Kevin is obviously setting a positive example for both his children and grandchildren because he doesn't want to live these tragedies again.

  • I use to watch them with my dad l the time. Ill never forget those matches.

  • The Von Erichs were awesome

R.I.P Fritz David Mike Chris Kerry

  • I remember this.

  • If he would have left them anlone and not pushed them, maybe they would be still alive

  • All of them are dead, except Kevin.

  • @Urvy1A i see

  • "suicidal, suicidal, when they say its over ."

    -sean kingston

  • "I've been a big brother all my life. And now I'm not even a brother."

    Wow. This is beyond sad.

  • @tadpolesexxx And the fact that the father had to bury four of his children.

  • Learn how to spell african idiot losing

  • oi, u fuck off racist trash

  • loosing it lmao

  • The VonErichs are The Kennedys of Pro Wrestling

  • how do you carry on after loosing four of your five children???

i hope the father and last surviving son have managed to find peace and some happiness

  • learn how to spell its losing you twat

  • get yourself back on medication trash

    insulting me for no reason

  • fritz is gone to moron

  • Fritz has been dead for over 10 years, bud.

  • @Eurafrican

or Ur 4 younger brothers 4 that matter?

  • the father Fritz Von Erich died of cancer in 1997

  • @Eurafrican Fritz passed away of brain cancer in 1997.

  • Thank you for sharing this, Ive never seen it before except a few clips on the World Class DVDs. Kerry Von Erich was my favorite as a kid

  • "Rasslin" may be fake, but that does not mean these guys weren't world class athletes. It's hardly ever mentioned anymore but Kerry was an NCAA discus champion and even made the 1980 US Olympic team. Had Pres. Carter not boycotted those Games, Kerry may well have been Olympic champion as well and been on a Wheaties box, a la Bruce Jenner. And both Kevin and David played college football but injuries ended their careers. That's why they decided to become wrestlers.

  • wrestling isn't fake! they get hurt severly!

  • @oldschool6804 It's fake in that the outcome is predetermined. But that does not mean these athletes do not have to be in top physical condition to do what they do like jumping from 30 feet. Of course they will get hurt. It requires tremendous physical stamina to do what these wrestlers do.

  • the bouts aren't as predetermined as you think especially in the 70's and 80's tempers flare and shoots happened!

  • @oldschool6804 When I worked at an airport, I would see groups of wrestlers fly in several times when they were scheduled to wrestle in my area. And guys that supposedly hated each other in the ring would be seen at the airport bar having drinks like they're old friends and even be asked to be seated together on the plane. Again, I have no doubt that wrestling is physically demanding and these wrestlers are in tremendous shape. But the sport itself is mostly show.

  • name names or you're aliar! most wrestlers are acquaintances there is a lot of

guys that really don't get along!

  • @oldschool6804 How about George "the Animal" Steele who was supposed to be a crazy person in the ring but when I saw him fly with us, he was just as sane as you or I (and quite a nice guy, too). The British Bulldogs were seen with Randy Savage. Ricky Steamboat was drinking with Rike Rude, the Honky Tonk Man was hamming it up with Jake Roberts and Jimmy Snuka was talking with Curt Hennig. Those the ones I remember. This was 20 years ago. These all flew in on one flight. Are you now convinced?

  • i know the wrestlers aren't all friends sure i believe certain guys are friendly though!

  • @childofthemarshalsea

Welcome to 2010. Now stop making 1960 comments.

  • @miasma1616 Why do you care?

  • @oldschool6804

Well, it is rigged, but the bump and strikes do hurt

  • guys don't always follow the plan though at times!

  • It's so damm sad how wrestling can be so stressful god bless there souls DAVID,MIKE,CHRIS, KERRY, FRITZ damm half of the family is dead Kevin is the only one left but Kerry child Lacey Von Erich wresltes in TNA she needs to be in WWE but R.I.P. THE VON ERICH

  • Von Erich isn't even their real last name. Rasslin is so fake.

  • no shit dipstick

  • When was this?

  • 1993.

  • That must really suck and it's sad. They're like the Kennedys of wrestling.

  • @Keenharr them and the harts as well. hart family and those theyve trained.

  • @Keenharr Only Kevin is alive and well.

  • @Keenharr agreed friend....very sad

  • in the last month and a half me and my dad have become really close to kevin and his sons mostly closest to his 2 younger one my dad runs there 30 foot glacier bay and kevin told me all the stories of his brothers it pretty carzy

  • 7:35 to 8:04 gives me chills

  • Yeah it's creepy too

  • kerry shit he has daughter lacey in tna and he top him self messed up famly

  • What???????????

  • In Texas, the Sportatorium was the biggest piece of crap place to wrestle, but there was nowhere other than a football stadium anyone ever wanted to be. you either went to a football game, or to the Sportatorium to watch the von Erichs, Freebirds, Ice Man King Parsons, One Man Gang, Kamala, etc. One word to describe it all; TRAGIC

  • i wont lie i feel bad 4 kevin von eric

  • Just sad...no other way to describe it.

  • that gives me chills.....

"I've been a big brother all my life, now I'm not even a brother"

Kevin's buried 5 brothers, Gino Hernandez, Brusier Brody, Rick Rude, Missing Link and so many others who came through World Class.

    It really is a shame

  • Kerry had a bad relationship with Fritz ? I really didnt know this

  • He cared more about them as wrestlers than sons, thats why they came up short,

  • They were an awesome wrestling family it really sucks for Kevin that all his brothers are dead and he's the only one alive RIP David Kerry Mike Chris Fritz

  • What a tragedy in Dallas,TX... All of them except Kevin are too early to pass away....Let me tell you about Kerry. He arrived at Japan for the very first time in March of 1983 and was asked by a reporter "Who is the toughest opponent you've ever fought ?" and Kerry said, "Harley Race, Ric Flair.... and Fritz Von Erich. In fact, what scares me most is Father. I would rush into the church every time I was scolded by him. And I still do." Kerry's face was so serious only when telling about this.

  • The Von Erichs now are deservedly in the WWE Hall of Fame, both inducted 2009

  • @saanzacs

It's nice and all, but Mike and definitely Chris don't belong in there.

  • @doddsino I definitely agree with you....it was said that Mike never wanted to do it in the first place.

  • I'd let Maureen O'Boyle give me a lap dance. Then, I'd give her a golden shower to remember :)

  • R.I.P 2 The Von Erichs

  • I remember watching this when it came out in '93, I think that was the year. I was only 22. On a lighter note, Maureen O'Boyle was an attractive woman

  • the von erichs are a bunch of suicidal emos

  • It didn't happen by coincidence! Their daddy was HELL on those boys and drove them there

  • Shortly before Jack Adkisson died, he had already lost his mind:

One time he pointed a gun at Kevin and barked "You would've killed yourself too if you had the guts your brothers had!"

Kevin had to run from the house to save himself that night.

  • So he went wild after Jack Jr. died?

  • No wonder Doris left Fritz, My question to you is, do you think Fritz was THAT hard on those boys that let to Mike, Chris, and Kerry's suicide?

  • Yes, of course he was a monster.

    The worst of the worst.

The entire bit-by-bit demise of the Adkisson offspring lies with the source: ...Him!

It didn't just occur by coincidence.

  • Thats I've been telling fatony51

  • Did kevin really kill stray cats?

  • Did they burry Natasha (David's) daughter and Jack Adkisson Jr at same place the others are?

  • Yes, Natasha & Jackie are in the same cemetery as Fritz, Kerry, Dave, Mike & Chris

  • Natasha is buried next to David, and Jackie is buried next to Doris' brother about six graves from the other brothers.

  • Just curious, where did you read that?

  • you heared from raven and HTM when they was reading that list.

  • huh?

  • Fritz had brain cancer at that time

  • hollywoodliberal-get your facts straight. This was from 1993 (a few months after Kerry's death) and Fritz died in 1997, just a few weeks after he was diagnosed with brain cancer.

  • I was referring to when Fritz pulled a gun on Kevin, THAT was when he had brain cancer

  • man,i wish they didn't do sucide.

  • Thanks a lot for posting this...I remember when I recorded this on my VHS tape back in 93...I still have that...I still love the Von Erichs

  • thanks vic, this is very hard to find!!

  • hey vic can you post the triumph and tragedy of world class championship wrestling

  • it wasn't exactly a commercial success and I can't find it anywhere (I already have a job but thanks for the concern)

  • Thanks so much for posting this. I never thought I'd see it again. May God Bless Kevin and the Von Erich family!

  • Comment removed

  • There aren't any words that can properly describe how beloved the Von Erichs are with my friends and I. No family should have to go through such horrors. The Harts have lost a couple of their members, but not on such a scale as this. Still, there are even more good stories about Fritz and his boys than there are tragic ones. God bless the Adkissons, and may their memory live on forever.

  • buenopopchigger you have just been blocked and reported. how dare you come on my page and disrespect my youtube friends and the adkisson family. you ain't nothing but a gangbangin mexican thug... show some respect and grow up. you know nothing about world class championship wrestling nor the history behind the people & Fans who made it famous.

  • Thank you, for the video! Do you think Fritz was to hard on them boys?

  • Yeah i think he definitely forced Mike back into the ring after his illness.

  • Mike was also forced to be David, after David died.

  • Hard to say he wasnt my dad. But I had a hard father and Ive had my experiences with substance abuse. But I was an adult and nobody made me do anything I didnt wanna do.

  • Jake The Snake,Gary Hart,Chris Adams,Bruiser Brody and Kevin said that Mike never wanted to enter the business,

  • Well then he should have been a man and said "no." May seem heartless, but you make your own path in life. David did.

  • Yes David did. But Fritz wanted to keep the Von Erich Freebird rivaly going. Chris was about 14 when David died. Why do you think they kept Mikes matches short? Mike was no where the wrestler that David was.

  • Dont get me wrong here, I sympathize with mike. However, Chris was 14, but Mike was 19. He was an adult and he may have not wanted to be a wrestler. If that was the case then he should have quit. But again, Im not an Adkisson so I cant give an actual real life situation. I just know from my own personnal memories.

  • His dad wouldv'e been pissed at him but he had Kevin, Kerry, and Fritz watching his backside. Its still a sad situation.

  • Fritz was his dad. Dont think he would have been watching his back if he was pissed at him.

  • my friend, like McRat said Fritz was a monster. So thats why Doris left him. Cuz he was hell on those boys.

  • really he knew him?

  • ask him. man, I wasn't trying to be a smartass or anything.

  • No, no I was serious your friend said that?

  • Ask him, or just look at ALL the comments on here

  • Yeah, but how many of these people actually knew Fritz. Seriously, Pick up a couple of those shoot interviews of some of the old timers. They say he was tough as all hell, but none of them ever talked any shit. Cant really judge someone unless you know them, know them. As far as I can tell Fritz thought too much of his boys and that was the problem.

  • I'll send you an email of Doris's side of the story.

  • I've read it already. But come on now, there's always two sides to every story. You've been in a relationship that didnt work out, Im sure. Always two sides to the story.

  • Yes, I believe was to hard on those boys.

  • I'm try to make a tribute video of Chris Von Erich

  • you for real dude? how you gonna dog someone with so much respect for such legends?

  • your very welcome gokevingo

  • The Von Erich legacy will live on until the end of time. They have touched the entire world with the magic that they created inside the ring and outside

  • i never got to see this before, i always wanted to, thanks so much for posting this!
