Got 2 12 L7s myself but I'd say u need to either run a zx2500.1 to each pair or jump to the 13 W7s. If u do that run a 1000/1 to each one. 2 of them babies and you will prolly hit around 150 range

The only thing u need is to run another zx2500.1 and if u had just 2 before on the same amp u may have the wrong ohm load goin to amp. Dont forget kicker amps are only 2 ohm stable. But u do have a nice setup.

@QuestioningAnswers i did some visual calculations, durrived from the size of the subs the box is about 32x48x18 which is a little over 14 ft^3 with that port sixe of 16 in x 12 in the box is tuned to about 55 htz which is totally wrong for l7s

@davidsstilltippin i upgraded the alternator i have to meter it to see how hard it goes. Also it depends on the meter i tested on two one said 153 and the other 145. I went with 145 because that meter was more expensive than the other one so i guessed thats the right one

2 12'' DVC 4ohm l7's hitting 142db on the meter windows up doors closed, car off and in a sealed box playing street music. No extra battery besides a 1 fa. cap with 4ga wire. Suggestion: get new amp/amps. you should be hitting 150db +

when you connect the second battery u r going to need an isolator the isolator is hook from both the ground and the positive from your battery the from the isolator to the second battery oh and by the way it would be better if you use an optima for your second battery or any other gel battery

bro i read a lot of the comments and did a little of research and I think that your amp can handle those subs with no problem but you have to have all your subs wired at 2ohms and look at your voltage if it drops below 13.2 you gotta work on a new alternator I think your amp has what it takes to power all 4 15''...

well i c u said u only hit a 145 db... ur clearly under powering the subs... there a 1000 watts rms....un hook 2 of them subs an put them on ur amp an see how much of a different it makes....i have an extreme with the same set up ... kicker 2500.1 with the cvxs an peak a 155.0 db....bass race 149.9.... i burped a 147.5 but im also in an extended cab truck...
