easily the most brilliant show. i love the way this man moves! haha his voice has actually gotten better over time. there's an air of certainty and steadiness that he seems to have grown into ... that scathing new york times review was absurd. pareles doesn't seem to understand that artists evolve and standards change. comparing his performance to 30 years ago just shows how the critic is static and stuck in time. byrne is in a perpetual state of development which is what makes him spark!
