  • ok, jordan the best of all times, but what a game by pippen!

  • this series was won because the lakers had so many injuries and phil made pippen guard magic

  • No James Worthy and no Byron Scott = No chance for the Lakers

  • It's a shame the Lakers had so many injuries in this series.

  • What made jordan great was that his airness rubbed off on the whole chicago team where everybody was a threat.

  • Pippen went bezerk on em

  • pippen was balling

  • pffff 8:36 !!!

  • Comment removed

  • Bulls fan for ever.. Jordan & Pippen greatest NBA Players ever.!

  • John Paxson Greatest whitey in my eyes

  • Kobe Bryant couldn't hold Michael Jordan's jock!

Ha ha ha ha! Shit on the Lakers!

  • The only reason the Lakers made it this far was because the West Coast was always pretty weak in the 80's and even into the early 90's. I'm not saying the Showtime Lakers didn't deserve their Championships throughout the 80's....they deserved every single one that they won. It's just that the Eastern Conference has always been a war during the play offs. Look at the 80's East Coast teams...the Celtics, 76ers, Bucks, Pistons and a young Bulls team. The Lakers were always pretty well rested.

  • @Flipper79able i think you're exaggrating. consider that the lakers won more than they lost vs those eastern teams. those teams you mention werent great for the whole decade. pistons werent great until '87,bulls werent great until '90,sixers finished their run after 83 and vice versa. i dont entirely disagree with you because i think you suggest that more defense was played in the east, which is correct.

  • 8:35 - Shot that ball backwards like it was nothing...and it goes in?! HAH! AMAZING

  • everything is great, though I don't understand why they don't show the lakers as they scored, could of made this vid more exciting

  • Pippen had better score than Jordan.

  • Fuck those peoplees on top comments, yes I am a laker fun but at least lakers won 16 championships... pfft ( not a hater or anything )

  • Given how Nelly poorly executed this song, he didn't do this song ANY justice

  • Does anybody notice at the beginning of the video they are playing heart of a champion by nelly without the lyrics?

  • @WeDaBears000 This is John Tesh's Roundball Rock. Nelly sampled this, good choice, BAD execution

  • @KenseiNoir Somebody doesn't like modern music. I mean it's a 2004 song by nelly but I first heard it in 2011 and it actually sounded like a 2010-11 song.

  • @Chumpster1981

That's right! Bulls all they way this year!!!!

  • The stampede is back. See red bitches :)

  • Don't be mad laker fans I had to watch my suns lose to them to, but alt least we won more games against em

  • Looks like DownsA530 got banned from YouTube due to three strikes claimed by a copyright of National Basketball Association. If one of yours has the NBA Coverage during the current and classic years (including the Finals), please remove them immediately.

  • true dat no one did by themselves.....its all da same......bulls had 3 stars just like da lakers so shut da fuck up dont complaint if ur not playin for any team at all....

  • only fitting pippen lead the bulls in their first championship. jordan was good but pip was cruicial in their team's success. the man did everything during the championship years. best glue guy ever!

  • god dam takin a shxt on them xD

  • @Noedig yes

  • some say michael did it by himself, well this is one of those games that disagrees... no one did by themselves, ok maybe chamberlain, he was a one man team :))

  • I hate you scottie pippin u said that Lebron James is better than MJ well u know what the only reason y u have fucking 6 rings is becasue for MJ i still like Lebron tho

  • the 11 dislikes were from Lakers fans

  • 9:33 Is that Jack Nickelson shaking Phil`s hand?

  • man news in the 80s were the best

  • paxson on fire

  • @StevenAirJordan as a player, YES, as an owner, HE'S TERRIBLE

  • @TheBrucifer Remember, Phil put the ball n Kukoc's hands w/the gm on the line when MJ retired on several occassions & it was the right decision because he was their best scoring option & he wasn't a liability @ the ft line like Pip. Pip's a great dfender but MJ dominated the entire league on both sides of the floor for 8 seasons. Only Wilt can say that.

  • @TheBrucifer1 Pip is a more versatile dfender n that he can guard more positions but thats where it stops. MJ is better at every single fundamental aspect of the game & its not even close. Scoring efficiency, jump shooting, ft shooting, clutch performance & decision making & MJs the only perimeter player to evr hav 100 blks & 200 stls n an entire season n back2back seasons. Those 2yrs he also avgd 37 & 35ppg. He followed those seasons w/a 32.5ppg 8reb 8asst 3stl per gm 4the yr.

  • @StevenAirJordan YES SIR!!

  • OMG the old NBA on NBC music! YES!!!! memories!

  • he's a shitty owner and now a hardline owner

  • Pippen has always been better then MJ. MJ was just the Highlight Reel.

  • JR Smith resembles MJ so much!!

  • I would give anything for the NBA to return to NBC.

  • 08:36 MJ do a sick move

  • why do people have to get old.....

  • You gotta give Paxon a lot of credit.. He hit big shots down the stretch.

  • jordan made the bulls ,, and ended it

  • If worthy and scott was playing. This would have been a totally different series

  • 9:32 is that Jack Nicholson congratulating Phil Jackson?

  • @G0FlyAKite1 Apparently...

And 10 years later, he would be celebrating a Lakers title with Phil Jackson.

  • Jordan + Pippen + Rest of the Bulls = UNSTOPPABLE!!

  • 8:38 this is why Jordan is the Greatest!

  • lol the crowd going wild for bulls in laker home court

  • 7:45 This is what you really love about MJ. He brings the ball down. You know if this is Kobe he's gonna try to drive to the hole or pull up...often illadvisably. MJ just draws the defense in and runs the team offense.

  • 6:14 You see a lot of players dribble into the defense in the post like this today and get caught up trying to do too much. I know that Lebron and Kobe get in trouble for this and turn it over. It's amazing how Michael can elude his defender just enough and then find the seam...elevate and finish so strong with his offhand.

  • And then there's that Michael guy...

  • Man. Scottie's game is not at all about flash. His fundamentals are just soooo strong. He could be one of the greatest players of all time.

  • There is no doubt in my mind, Michael Jordan is the greatest of all times

  • the lakers look like pussyes

  • For years as a Chicago fan I struggled watcfhing the Bulls? Would we ever get past Detroit? Hell Yeah! Did you hear that L.A. crowd? Half of that crowd was for the Bulls! Paxson was money in game 5!

  • 10 people are lakers fans

  • i love john fuckson jumpshot and 3 points shot

  • i wasnt born

  • MJ or God in red. Greetings from Argentina. Miss U so much Michael.

  • I miss the NBA on NBA intro music

  • this was jordan's 7th year in the league...lebron time

  • this is my life CHICAGO BULLS YEEEEEAH1111111

  • 8:46 thats hilarous behind the back shot makes it.....dosent count!

  • starting at 1:17, the only player who can bring the opposing crowd to their feet with a play like that, side note: also featured in the opening sequence of ProStars

  • 3:33 fundamentals are beautiful

  • this made magic retire lol

  • GREATEST OFJORDAN ERA LAKERS eHH JORDAN RULES

  • MJ makes baskets even when he doesnt mean too! damn.

    BULLS > LAKERS allday

  • @Livinglifehigh theres no dying MJ will always be the greatest, but seriously Jordan made the Bulls all they are, i dont see Rose winning anything soon meanwhile the Lakers find a way to contend all the time,

11 titles before Jordan and 5 after his retirement Lakers all day

  • game 5 should of been in nba 2k11 hope its in the new one !

  • @eliasmavromatis it is you can play the whole seris

  • Classic Jack congratulating Phil. Jack is the truest Laker ever

  • As a big Lakers fan i totally respect the bulls for their first nba championship win. I love this rivalry! :D

  • @StevenAirJordan and jordan is the alpha and the omega , lol , careful with the dick riding . I'm a jordan fan too but there will be other great basketball players.

  • @KenTheMan407 Not MJ great.

  • 8:37 badass LOL

  • paxon is a gunerr

  • 8:37 is the proof MJ and a basketball are UNSTOPPABLE

  • I wish the Bulls won championship at Chicago it sucks they won in LA

  • when MJ touched the ball. ppl bring out their camera, hold their breath, and don't blink. they know GREATNESS was about to happen. everyone else is good. MJ WAS.. IS THE GREATEST!

  • John Paxson should have gain more credits!!!!!

  • Oh boy soon as I heard the theme music it took me back to my childhood!!! The good ol days when the NBA was on NBC.

  • i remember the this is the nba on nbc it was exciting when i was a kid

  • 8:38 was the best shot ever Lolz......

  • They say its all Jordan, but Pippen and Paxson had contributed as well.

  • @MJCarlos93 Well of course they did but MJ was the team & because of the attention he got it freed up ppl like paxson. And pippen benefited the most from MJ cuz he took him under his wing & made him a tougher player if not he would of been an average player who never realized his potential.

  • i love to see scottie pippen at his best an mj an the whole chicago team!!!

  • @StevenAirJordan yea bro than none other than jordan

  • U can tell the Lakers was gonna get their azz busted in this game cuz they were lacking energy on them fast break points and sloppy turnovers !!!

  • Chicago bulls the best i hope Derrick Rose's Bulls will win the championship 1 day like MJ

  • amazing, it's a wonder how they play

amazing, it's a wonder how they play

  • @liltunechi4eva

    that was corny

  • @klined who cares?

  • His Airness. The Greatest.

  • If you don't get goosebumps when you hear than intro.......your not a true NBA Fan.....

  • Pippen was a solid player.... just don't understand why he is so unappriciated in Chicago

  • @tahmid4777

He's ALWAYS been appreciated by them..

  • 8:38 OMFG! BEAST!

  • Does magic ever try and get back on D?......ever?

  • lmao fuck magic jhonson

  • how did i know 8:37 was going in... because its air jordan bitchezzzz

  • @filthyfunke

    uhhh to support the team.

  • How did the Lakers reach the finals? Tony smith is your 2 guard. Rookie elden, and young Divac is your front court? Terry teagle is your Small forward? Worthy was old. Magic was old. Scott was old. Looks like the bulls just beat an old ass team with raw rookies

  • @lakertang Are you fuckin stupid? You're seriously calling Magic, Worthy and Byron Scott old? Magic was 31 and won MVP the year before in 1990. He was still very much at the top of his game before his retirement. Worthy and Scott were both 29 years old. If you call that "old" you're dumber than a sack of hammers.

  • @OneGloriousBastard

like your comment dude. the lakers were not old in 1991..and people say shit like "the bulls didnt win until kareem retired" kareem as an old man did not have a big impact on lakers postseason success so i think any bulls title team could have beaten the late 80's lakers title teeams

  • @lakertang Looks like another lame excuse.

  • Did the bulls win this game 100 to 0? I didn't even see the Lakers score, hahaha.

  • lol at the end pippen traveled.

  • Okay no disrespect to MJ he is the greatest but im tired of seeing this bs about how Lebron is never gonna be better than mj but i heard that mj dident get his first ring till he was around 27or 28 so i went to check out if that was right cuz of course i dont want to listen to people and come in on here and have my facts wrong and they were right and you have all seen how close lebron gets each year and and how much better lebrons about to be 27 so he still has a good chance.

  • @cheesin24

Put that to rest. Lebron will never be Jordan if he wins 20 championships. Jordan was one of a king, a freak of nature. You have to have been there to see. Scientists will be studying his brain after he is gone.

  • John Paxson went the hell off with those shots the 90's Bulls were unstoppable

  • @michaelbornnard3 im still trying to figure out why he`s even open

  • @jahreel Too many weapons. You had Pippen going off. You had Jotrdan going off. Lakers had to focus on those guys and unfortunately that left Pax open time and time again. That '91 Bulls team was pick your poison.

  • *sigh*...........the good old days. :o)

  • Why do people talk so much shit on the Internet? Actions speak louder than words

  • IT'S IMPOSSIBLE!!!! 20 EARS AGO!

  • mj = greatest of all time!

  • Pippen couldn't shine Magic's condoms. Why did I just watch this tag-a-long dunk all over the place without a Magic highlight????

  • @Jumpman2131 jordan>kobe

  • Wish Micheal Jordan could play forever, him and Scottie Pippen both made basketball great to watch!!!

  • wow no wonder the bulls won every year the defense was terrible in this era look at how easily mj gets into the rim look at the transition defense of the lakeres when they turn it over

  • @LiLSiCk916 dude the defense of this era was amazing, you wanna know how Jordan got to the rim so easily, its cause hes Michael Jordan, hed easily drop 40+ ppg against todays defense, if you can call it defense

  • @Airman32292 nope, not what i see, every video i seen was a bunch of slouches in short shorts and michael jordan n pippen just beastin.. And dont even talk about todays defense, Dallas mavericks , miami heat, and chicago bulls defense is the face of todays NBA defensive teams. Todays NBA has such great defenders, u got players in the NBA specifically FOR DEFENSE, like ron artest, shane battier, raja bell, thabo sefolosha, aron afflalo, i can go on forever they didnt have dat back then

  • @LiLSiCk916 HAHA youre nuts, there is no defense anymore, you cant handcheck and if you even tap a dude its a fould, if you think those are the only good defenders than you have no basketball knowledge. Jordan was fucking 40 yrs old dropping 20 a game against todays league, without the handchecking at his prime it would be a blood bath

  • @Airman32292 lmfao MJ nuthugs always bring up the hand check rule, and almost more than half of the time they dont even know what hand checking is, Hand check rule is your not allowed to place your hand on an opponent unless they drive to the basket or have there back to the basket, I dont see anyone in this video with there hand on MJ at the perimeter, hand checking is irrelevant MJ wagons just use that as an excuse to make it seem mj had it tough. what about zone defenses?

  • @Airman32292 Zones werent allowed in jordans era,, and dont give me that bullshit about teams not using zones,, Mavericks beat lakers, heat and thunder with the zone defense, miami beat chicago with zone, and lakers won most of there series in the previous years with the zone...

  • @LiLSiCk916 haha zones wouldnt have done shit to jordan, all that zones really do is collapse inside and double/triple cover a player once he drives, jordan utterly dominated double/tripple teams, as for the handchecking your basing your idea of it on one video, they used it a lot, frankly without it its damn near impossible to guard it why do you think the mid range game is dead nowadays, look at the jordan rules, players would get hammered by the badboys, thats real defense

  • @LiLSiCk916 Zone beats weak-minded teams who can't figure that gimmicky shit out. When you have players (like Lebron James) whose games are nothing but shooting threes or driving to the rim it's easy to zone their asses because their games are flawed. Players like Jordan and Pippen were complete players. They were actually skilled in all facets, had mid-range games from the foul line down AND low post games so they could attack the defense in multiple ways. These new cats don't have that yet.

  • @OneGloriousBastard well one knock on jordan is his 3 pointers, he wasnt that great of a 3 point shooter but everything else he was a master at especially the mid range game, and the post..

  • @LiLSiCk916 Just to continue look at the players the zone worked against. Derrick Rose is like Lebron. He's either shooting threes or driving to the rim. He had a good midrange game last year but ignored it this year. And he's also undersized which makes it easier for defenses to key on him.

Kevin Durant. All he does is shoot long jumpers. No mid-range game. No low post game. Suspect ball-handler. He's one dimensional. Of course the zone is going work on that kind of flawed player.

  • @LiLSiCk916

"Zones werent allowed in jordans era"

SMH..your lil punk ass just NEVER learn do U?

"[Zones] were also used [frequently] before they were [legalized] as well. One example, the 80s Celtics were known [users] of it & always got away with it. These are the same Celtics Jordan destroyed from an individual standpoint."

-- Johnathan Abrams: "Subtly, Zone Defense Helps Open Game"; NY Times, Feb 29, 2009

Just shut up kid, and take your ignorant ass somewhere and sit down!

  • @Airman32292 the only good defenders from jordans era, Gary payton(Shut MJ down) joe dumars(6'3 couldnt guard MJ too short).John starks(no defense and short) byron scott(too short n skinny) , Doc rivers( too small) MJ didnt have any body go against him that was a spectacular perimiter defender other than Gary payton and every time they played Mj was held around only 20 points or less with alot of turnovers and bad shooting percentage

  • @Airman32292 but again i dont hate MJ, hes the greatest, but i dont think his legacy would have been as great as it was if he played in todays era, not saying he wouldnt do good but just not as good..

  • @Airman32292

In case U haven't figured it out, LilSiCk916 is an utter moron, and is just some big mouth kobe homer who RESENTS MJ for obvious reasons, and will say the most absurd, ignorant sh*t about him to try & make kobe look better.

I've owned his dumb ass comments on other videos B4..

  • @LiLSiCk916 dude no offence but you're a person who's sitting at his comp and maing comments on youtube. a lot of nba analyst who make living off knowing everything they know about this game agree on the fact that MJ in today's era would just plain tear down defenses.

  • @joseph0arthur Ok so what wtf i dont have to be a fucking analyst to know what im talking about, all the analyst are MJ bandwagons too, they all came from jordans era so of course there gonna bandwagon MJ and say "oh our legend was better then todays legends, and he wud dominate yap yap yap" just a bunch of lip , Mj would have been great in todays era but he wouldnt have had the reputation he has today if he would have played in todays era, the reason why i say that is bcuz todays nba

  • @LiLSiCk916

You are probably right. Michael would probably not have as good a set of numbers if he were playing now as he did before, THAT IS BECAUSE HE WOULD HAVE BEEN BORED TO DEATH AND WALKED OFF THE SET BEFORE THE GAMES WERE FINISHED. Are you kidding me about todays's deenders? A young Michael would have to have been guarded by four of today's players. None of today's defense cinderellas would have been able to play for the Detroit or New York teams that Michael faced.

  • @jkoruty

"Michael would probably not have as good a set of numbers if he were playing now"

    23ppg 4apg 4rpg

That's what a 39-40 yr old MJ avg'd just a few seasons ago.

  • @blackadam06

"probably" is all speculation. Wilt and Russell would probably not have achieved as much had they faced, Shaq, Olajuwon, Ewing and other premier centers of more recent times. I guess we'll never know. All I can go by is history. And by the numbers, Jordan is the greatest.

  • @jkoruty

We have & have had LESSER guys (i.e. Yao, Kendrick Perkins etc.) playing or have recently played, that were or are considered "elite" bigs, but U think a guy like Wilt, someone who bench pressed 500lbs, was a track star/high jumper in college, wouldn;t be effective playing right now?

U got guys like Tyson Chandler considered an "elite" defensive presence, but U don't think a guy like Bill Russell could make an impact playing today?

  • @jkoruty

Don't know. Its all speculation. But for the record. I was did not mention Chandler. I mentioned Olajuwon. And to be honest, with the skills and agility he had, I doubt that Wilt "Stiffo" Chamberlain or Bill "offensive liability" Russell could have done much to stop him had they played agaisnt him.

  • @joseph0arthur has multiple stars that could battle MJ,,,u got kobe , wade, prime tmac, brandon roy when hes healthy, vince carter in his prime, lebron james, d rose, allen iverson, kevin durant, monta ellis, chris paul...who did jordan have other than himself in the league that was a str8 up stud that could drop 40 on any given night? Joe dumars?John starks? Clyde drexler? Dom wilkins? Magic Johson? those guys sound like jokes compared to todays superstars..

  • @LiLSiCk916 fuck all these new ppl jordan shits on anyone so shut the fuck up fag!

  • @23oscarmania nope. Didnt kobe drop 55 on him?? lmfao.

  • @LiLSiCk916 Nope. Stackhouse was guarding Kobe that game, not Jordan. Go learn basketball.

  • @KazaamJones I wonder why? Stackhouse was guarding kobe cuz MJ was too scared to get dogged lol... What about when kobe was a second year player , he scored 20 points on MJ and Pippen in LA, and 33 points against the bulls that same year in chicago ... you go learn basketball kid

  • @LiLSiCk916 MJ doesn't fear any player fool.

  • @LiLSiCk916 If you actually watched those games in '98, particularly the 33 point one, Kobe got most of his points in garbage time after the game was already decided. He only scored 6 on Jordan that game (not sure how many on Pip). Regarding the Wiz game, why would they put a 40 year old on a 24 year old who's in his prime? And when Jordan did guard him for 2 possessions in that game, Jordan got a breakaway steal and forced Kobe into a charging foul. Like I said, go learn basketball.

  • @LiLSiCk916

"who did jordan have other than himself in the league that was a str8 up stud that could drop 40 on any given night?"

Total # of guys avg'n 27+ppg per era:

    MJ's era = 15 > Kobe's = 11

Total # of times 27+ppg was actually avg'd:

    MJ's era = 36 times > kobe's 28

1984-98 saw 15 different guys avg:

    27+ppg 13 times

    28-29ppg 19 times

    30+ ppg 4 times (3 different guys)

  • Comment removed

  • @LiLSiCk916

None of the info I post is fake..

"u say kobes era only had 27+ only 28 times?"

No idiot, I said from 1999-10, there's only been 11 different guys to avg 27ppg or more "8" times. Do U know how to read?

And how in the hell does one get a total of 39 seasons of guys avg'n 27+ppg, when NONE OF the guys U listed have played any more than 15 seasons?

Anyone with common sense & the ability to do basic math can see how MORONIC your comment sounds!

    39 seasons...SMH LOL!!

    Fuckin' idiot..

  • @blackadam06 "Total # of times 27+ppg was actually avg'd: MJ's era = 36 times > kobe's 28"

Wow wise dick i was talking about this stupid ass statement u made right here, i didnt mean 39 seasons straight stupid fuck, i meant adding all the seasons up that those players averaged 27+ , fucking wise guy changing the damn subject when u already know what the fuck i mean.. and how the fuck are u gonna say from 99-2010,, when kobes been in the league since 96? stfu already

  • @blackadam06 ur ass just got took to school and now u tryna change subjects u just making ur self look dumb stop commenting me man fuck ur the most annoying person ive ever seen on youtube, ur all over kobes videos talking hella shit..u dont see me going around talkn shit about mj,, go do something with ur life fuck !

  • @joseph0arthur old timers will say old timers are the greatest b cuz deep down inside they have alot of hate built up inside for the new generation and when someone compares the new players to the old they get all butt hurt and offended, MJ's a perfect example , when he said "kobe would only be a top 10 shooting guard on the all time list not top 5.." who was better den kobe? Jerry west? nope west admitted kobe was better. Clyde? nope., It doesnt make sense who is better den kobe other then MJ.?

  • @LiLSiCk916 i bet ur a lil 10 year old kid shut the fuck up u know nothing this ear was the greatest had the greatest players so fuck u!!!

  • @23oscarmania Bitch i was born two years before MJ came into the league in 85, i fucking watched NBA in that ERA and i didnt like the NBA until the 90s, when shaq came to the league...

  • GREAT NBA TIMES! 20 YEARS LATER PHIL RETIRES AS A LAKER AFTER BEING SWEPT FOR THE FIRST TIME ! WISH HE STILL LOOKS LIKE THIS!

  • 0.3:01 best moves pippen
