  • Masterpiece!

  • complimenti!

  • genius

  • amazing how quickly dabs of oil paint can cause the eye to percieve an incredibly detailed and accurate image... it looks like so much fun!

  • are you using metalic paint?

  • Aw, the is one of the best self-portraits i have seen ever!

    Love your style :)

    Best Wishes!

  • thats sweet! as first i was like "what the heck are all those colours!" but now i get it!!!

  • i can see your reflection !

    This is remarkable !

  • so unusual, brilliant work, 5 stars.

  • Eres el MASTER de la pintura!!!

  • Awesome work! It looks like it'll roll away. Bravo!

  • its kinda weird how he made a reflection in it.

  • WOW- Great video theater- great painting. You blew my tiny mind!

  • wow looks so real =D

  • So beautiful - thank you.

  • Thanks Duane. I could watch people paint all day. It was fairly abstract until I understood the dark torso and then the head. That was a nice moment for me.

  • where's the music?

  • so real it almost looks like he's painting on a silver ball!

  • it kinda looks like a bubble

  • if you pause it at 5:52 it looks real!!!

  • Is this supposed to be a silver ball?

  • what are you looking at? is it your reflection in a crystal ball or just your own creative composition? thanks for the puzzle + good use of light to dark-

  • what do u use, ACRILIC??

  • that was so so so amazing..

  • this is the best painting I've ever seen :O

  • Do you know the poem "Self Portrait in a Convex Mirror"?

  • Thank you so much for showing how these things are done. Painting can be such a mystery and for me the books don't help much.

  • Is this donein one session. are you allowing oils to dry while over any of this period? fantastic work.

  • Do these sometimes serve as preliminary sketches for more detailed paintings? I noticed a very detailed painting of a steel ball on your homepage.

  • I love it! Especially the incidental marks on the surface of the ball that you applied near the end of your painting!

  • Awesome
