Upgrading wheels, tyres and suspension makes for safer cornering and braking distances, potentially life saving, at a small cost of some comfort or needing to go in and out of bad driveways with a bit more care.
A car that is always driven gently will build up carbon deposits in the cylinders and on the valves. They will also develop a bad seal between the piston rings and cylinders which leads to bad oil consumption which is bad for the environment and worsens fuel economy.
This video also does not show anything about how the cars are driven, just that they are modified.
The real concerning thing on our roads is people that just see cars as a way to get from A to B and try to be as cheap as possible by buying cheap shit tyres and not replacing shock absorbers when they no longer do their job as well as they could. There are probably 50 times more cars like this on the road than modified cars.
The other concern is 4x4's and/or SUVs for people with no intention to go off-loading but that's a whole other story!
