I read both series. And I watched both movies. Both of them are fictions, with large amount of imagination and a little bit of modern twist. Neither of them is realistic. I always thought the mark of a good actor is to be able to play different people. People like Johnny Depp, Christian Bale, Natalie Portman, and Helena Bohman Carter are all people that can play a multitude of characters. The way they are in real life is completely different from their characters. It keeps you engaged and fascinated with them. Its not acting if you play yourself.

She needs to actually create a PHYSICALITY for EVERY character she does, set of mannerisms and the way to holds herself that is seperate from her own. Her performances would greatly improve if she thought to take the time to do it.

The day she decided to become an actress should have been the day she got help with her crippling anxiety and public speaking skills. Being a successful actress means doing countless interviews (live and filmed), panels, promotions all over the world, and speeches. She really should have known what lay ahead of her before she dove into this career, which could only make her anxiety worse.

I think it's awesome how she acts just like Bella. That means that she has gotten into character (she interpreted Bella from the books perfectly) so much that she's started to act just like her away from the set... Why do you think Heath Ledger died? He got SO into his INSANE character, that it started fucking with him psychologically. That's what I call good acting.

@ISTlauren What people don't understand is that that's the POINT. Bella is a bland, boring and fucking stupid character in the books, although they are better than the movies. Bella herself can't do a lot and is pretty emotionless, and that's why Kristen was chosen. Everyone else tried to give her emotion; Kristen didn't. She can't. It's why she's /perfect/ for the medial role.

Kristen, who has no vivid personality in her acting talent, fits that perfectly.
