This went on for 20 minutes before the police finally decided to give him a summons, which he refused. The reason he was arrested was because he didn't have a permit to use the equipment on the streets. The old man still resisted so they were forced to arrest him. The old man struggled and fell on the floor which is why he was bleeding. The officers pulled out mace because of being surrounded by a mob. Regardless if they are old or not.

This also wasn't the first time hes been arrested AND for the exact same charges. The police were lenient and told the man to pack up and leave but he resisted. ..

In Asian culture, we respect senior people, and in Asian country, you can see a lot senior people are taken to the police department without handcuffing, the police officer just simply "invite' them to go with them, and most time they will obey it.

This went on for 20 minutes before the police finally decided to give him a summons, which he refused. The reason he was arrested was because he didn't have a permit to use the equipment on the streets. The old man still resisted so they were forced to arrest him. The old man struggled and fell on the floor which is why he was bleeding. The officers pulled out mace because of being surrounded by a mob. Regardless if they are old or not.

In Asian culture, we respect senior people, and in Asian country, you can see a lot senior people are taken to the police department without handcuffing, the police officer just simply "invite' them to go with them, and most time they will obey it.
Even America need to learn how to deal with people in different ways.
By the way, is NYPD are in China, they will be fired at the first place due to rudness, while this is America, human right is only a tool to foreigners. Cops have too much power.

I'm not trying to say the guy is innocent or anything. but hey, he's 60+ years old and wasn't armed, he didn't even resist or anything. You do not need to slam a 60 yr old guy to the ground to cuff him off a noise complaint- not a weapon charge- but a NOISE COMPLAINT.
