New systems are made to be built poorly. So they can scam you out of money for either overpriced warranties or a new system all together. I remember back in the day, my dad got the Genesis the day it was released... Free 1 year warranty WITH a lifetime option for like $20, and a guarantee for repair. Today, 1 or 2 year warranties are $150 or more and there is no such thing as lifetime... Only Best Buy offers a store warranty that costs nearly $500... This greedy world is getting worse and worse.

I don't hate any video game systems. I'm certainly a retro gamer, in the sense that my NES gets more attention than my PS3, Wii, or 360, but they're not bad consoles. Ever played uncharted? it's quite a great exclusive for the PS3, and the story is what you'd get if James Bond and Indiana Jones fucked and had a kid. The 360 isn't bad either. It has really revolutionized online gaming and these consoles have pushed games to a new graphical limit. I hate no systems. I'm a gamer, not a hater.

Xbox was obsolete and continues to be poorly constructed since it came onto the market. @master4gameplays Based on your criteria, the SNES is the best because it's 16 bit, you can play online and the games don't suck. You need to get some perspective brah. The NES is a beast system. My SNES died, PS2 wouldn't read disc anymore, Dreamcast wouldn't read disc anymore, got the red rings of death three times on Xbox 360 & my PS3 currently have the Yellow light of Death.

My NES never died. Only issue I had with my NES is the video cord. The screw-in coaxial cable jack that goes in the back of my TV, the gold skinny metal piece was easy to bend and eventually broke off so my dad had to shave the wire. I dont understand why we never had the A/V(Red/Yellow) cables when we had a VCR.
