Mcnally is the ultimate photography evangelist. His generosity in putting out his photos and explaining his creative and technical process, most of times for free or very little, is amazing.

Even if you are a stablished photographer, you still have to find meaning and motivation. When he speaks about photography my heart warms up and fell like getting out and shooting. Thanks Joe, very much!

Hi Joe, After many many people telling me I really need to do something with my photography, I just bought the Nikon D700 and will shoot with it for the first time this weekend. I haven't read your book yet but tomorrow, I will stop at B&N and purchase it with the hopes that I might be able to do something with my Nikon D700 that will impress me. I am already inspired by you.

i'm ready for the sequel to the book. it took me like 3 days to read it... and i generally have a hard time comprehending stuff i read. i couldn't put it down and at the end of a long day, the only thing i wanted to do was sit and read this book. fabulous job. oh, and i'm a left-eye shooter too (not by choice, but it does work out well for holding the camera as you say).
