Westboro Baptist is correct about what the Bible says about nations who embrace homosexuality. What Westboro fails to understand is that they are making EVERYONE hate them..... and their partially correct message. God does not hate homosexuals. He loved them enough to send his son to die for them on the cross. God loves sinners. He hates their sin. God probably hates their disgraceful military funeral protests too. Westboro Baptist will answer to God for their shameful behavior.

i don't live in USA. we have hate-speech laws against stuff like this in our country (sweden). it's illegal to quote certain passages of the bible in our country (like leviticus which condemns homosexuals; a pastor got in jail for that, lol). we'll also get thought-laws in our country in the future. thoughts can be dangerous too.

@watergaia As long as our Supreme Court gives individual status to Corporations, Foriegners and Unknowns when it comes to First Ammendment rights and funding Federal Elections for American citizens, they are bound to judicial restraint when it comes to interpreting this open-and-shut case. I am certain Sweden is a very nice place, but this NeoCon-Banana Republic for the NWO Supreme Court we have in the United States is hell bent on advancing an agenda which only a Political Revolution will stop.

you're not understanding this situation correctly. there are people who are working to replace the natural right of free speech with the positive (human) law of policed speech, not the other way around.

The KKK was infiltrated and dismantled by J Edgar Hoover back during the Johnson administration, specifically because they were killing civil rights activists. The current KKK is a divided into a few nostalgic but harmless goons or agents posing as members.
The WBC have been around for a few years and are mostly all family members. They're either isolated crazies or fakes. Either way they're harmless.

this is the risk you take for being a free nation, with no restrictions on freedom. you will have those who take advantage of those rights but it is still there rights. i think the supreme justice should say that what they are doing is appalling but they are in there legal rights to do so. civil rights and individual rights matter more then being nice and respectful. meaning human decency comes second to my freedom and others as well.
