  • If you have replaced the coil and the diods are there and the EOS work as it should, everything works but its "sluggish". Clean the optos on the flipperbuttons that make them move. If they are dirty they give you a slow acting flipper.

  • ok I replaced the coil and it seems to work better, but it doesn't react 100% it reacts a bit slow, the only thing I haven't replaced is the E.O.S. switch can that make a difference? Thanks for your help.

  • It does not have to do with the coil, it could be a broken transistor, cable lose, one of the windings wires are broken. There are two windings in a flippercoil, if its not working but could hold it up if you help it then one of the windings are broken. If you lucky you can fix it, otherwise you have to change the coil. Hard to say.

  • Thank you, sorry forgot to say that the flipper upper left doesn't work properly could that be because of the coil.

  • Yeah, sometimes the coil swell inside because it got hot, and the sleeve is a pain in the a-s to get out. But if the coil still work there are no reason to replace it. I use an older type of sleeve made out of brass to get the old sleeve out some times. If you get the old sleeve out and get a new one in, then you are fine.

  • Thank you this helped me a lot, I have one question maybe you can help, I can not pull out one coil sleeve it's stuck and breaks, does this mean the coil got to hot? And should I replace the coil?

  • Beautiful job! Nice looking pinball machine.
