Drum sounds great! know any tricks for stopping snare vibration from other instruments when recording?

It's all in the tuning and proximity. I assume you mean other drums, or, are you referring to guitars and such?

That camera gets a great quality picture an those built in mics really work. Does the camera allow you to plug another mic in it. Are you going to post other snares? you should experiment with different placements.

Thanks! No, the Q3 does not allow an external mic. I have several other snares and I'm going to post clips of all of them.
