I've been trying so hard to find a mobile phone that runs on a s.o. like xp or windows 7. I n the past I 've bought mobile phones like nokia communicator triyng to install applications that obvyously can't run on a mobile phone. Now I see this. It's amazing ! You can have a pc in the palm on your hand! What you care about minniport or miniusb ? It's as if you were in front of your pc at home : you could install vlc for your videos . Ciao

I was hoping to see them run it while it was docked and synced to the monitor, keyboard and mouse... I'm wondering about the possibilities of VoIP with this while in 7. LoL! Sure maybe dial-up and out to your own phones service provider to obtain an internet connection and then connect to Skype or whatever, or if around a hotspot use it... Then again ya could always boot in to S-OS

its a fully featured windows 7 for x86 processors.. An ATOM processor so called OAK Trail. 1,2 GHz.

Microsoft has announced that there will be a Windows 8 especially for ARM processors 2012. But older Windows x86 applications wont work with ARM Windows.

i hope developers will adapt their software for ARM Windows. Maybe Pocket PCs so called smartphones will be the future in regard to processors which will arrive the next years . Nvidia , Qualcomm Texas Ins. claim 4 core power.

@illidian11 Futjitsu is the nuber 2 manufacturer of Symbian based Smartphones, Symbian is a very stable system and is far less demanding on the battery than it's competitors. I know it's not convincing but as a Symbian fan, guess that It makes me happy that they decided so.

@iXPilot us MeeGo/Linux users are a different set. We have no problem solving something as simple as that. That's what hackery is for. If we can bypass the hardware boot locker in the G2, this shouldn't be much harder.
