Nikon S8100 240fps Test

Got this camera to day i like the slow motion oprion a lot . This is a grate camera

Hello, I just bought this camera a week ago and wanted to know if you purchased a special memory card for this camera? When I play it in my computer it skips and looks choppy weather I use my own regular memory card or the camera's memory card so I dont know if it's my camera that's defective or if I should buy a special memory card for it. Thank you

@tortolita07 Are you trying to play HD video? It's possible that your computer can't handle it. Try uploading the video to youtube and see what it looks like... or try someone else's computer.

@mfhayes Yeah I'm trying to play HD. It is my computer then, because I connected the camera to my tv and it was fine. But I can't edit the video in my computer because it plays choppy and then freezes =(

hi, what was the light in the room like? was it dark like you see in the video or is the video underexposed?

@marcjtdc It was pretty dark, but not as dark as the video makes it out to be. You lose a lot of light at this framerate.

@mfhayes I just bought one and yeah it underexposes the light significantly at this fps :(

@romaf06 Yeah, that's going to happen to any camera that is opening and closing the shutter that fast. This is why real high-speed cameras are ridiculously expensive.

Your title is very misleading. By Nikon S8100, did you mean Casion FH100? lol
