always nice to have a car that's been in the same family since new. even better that it's an untouched original car. good luck with it and hope to see more vids of it.
thats pretty cool..ever hear of centralia p.a?...the town that has a mine fire burning since 1962..well anyway ,,there is a twin to this car that was in a garage in centralia for decades...it was just pulled and and sent to a friend of mine to get it up and running again ...cool car you have man
@AeroPolice When the Great Grandpa died, his children put it in the garage and didn't check for antifreeze. It was full of water and cracked the block. By that time they had other cars to use, and no one in the family wanted to do anything with it so it just sat. He is the first family member that is a mechanic and really wanted to do something with it. So it now has a '61 235 engine in it. We have some videos now of it driving and I'll try to post them soon.
NICE! i had one of these but sold it due to too many projects and i had no place to store it!! Mine had the Peckat Visor though. Check my videos. Nice Car!!
@twocanplayatthat For now he is going to keep it as original as possible and just get it running, safe and driveable. I think the plan is to restore it, and then down the line maybe customize it a little.

Why was it there for 54 years? Is the house unoccupied for a long time?
