  • total genius

  • im kinda new to geocaching what is this whole "red herring" thing?

  • @tylerpienta I think it's actually an english saying....So unless you're from the UK it might mean nothing, it's basically a decoy. Google says it's Something, esp. a clue, that is or is intended to be misleading or distracting.

    Hope this helps.

  • @geocachespoilers yea im from the states so im pretty clueless haha

  • @tylerpienta In the washington DC area, where I am at, we call them "red robins". Means the same.

  • 0:57 Whats that by the tree? Looks like a tub.

  • Love it!!

  • wat is a geocache

  • Here's me thinking you are no longer making vidoes when in reality you have just got a different hobby. Don't have a GPS so will probably stick to playing on two wheels for now. Looks like fun though and basically the modern version of 'letter boxing' a past time I spent many hours doing as a child.

  • @geocachespoilers whats a red herring?

  • @deltaflier1399 It's a term meant to mean "something that acts as a distraction or diversion from the real thing, sometimes unintentionally." Usually used in murder mysteries where a clue that has nothing to do with the crime, is a "red herring."

  • cool
