Someone bet 100 dollars last night on weather JLL was still alive or not. The guy that was so confident and made the bet said he died year's ago. That movie of his was on Encore so that's how that came up. Glad that know it all bastard lost.
im better cause I can play the bongos upside down ---and also standing on one leg ---can you do that ?
jerry lee lewis is ready for the cemetry pronto --woulnd like to b in his shoes. what on gods earth has he done with his life ( for jesus ?) me thinks zero!
We are all Jerry's Kids in a psychological disorder sense...some of us are just a little more intense with our behaviors or a little more revealing than others...no body's perfect in the societal sense but the place which we originates says otherwise...
@TheCourtney1983 The reason is most likely because during this decade/era Cigarette Smoking was thought to be healthy for the human body...check out Twilight Zone, and other old old school T.V. You'll notice comments about cigarette's benefiting health...particularly Rod Serling at the ending of his twilight zone episodes..good day.
i am better than him --truly i am! i play the piano with my elbows when i am having a bath of course and i have to be eating some cramy cake at thye same time. take a look at this poor wretch ...hes stook in a sort of time warp --there comes a time when one has to prepare for the next life or mature a little.
@Damoskinos Yeah and he was great at it and still is. I could set and be jealous! This guy is a true rocker and still is! The man is a genius! I would much rather listen to him then these faggots out here today!
i love how he doesn't really answer the question about what caused it.lol
i ain't no doctor but the only thing i know that can rupture your stomach like that is good ol' cukane abuse....unless you gonna eat a whole wedding cake or something.
Yes I know its his cousin. Jimmy's followers refer to him as Brother Jimmy. Jerry, Jerry's other cousin, Mickey Gilley, and Jimmy Swaggart all play boogie woogie piano, and all spent time working the clubs down by the railroad tracks learning the "devil's music". I think they lived in the same household for a time.
He had a death experience. This is not mentioned on a website about famous peoples NDE. Good he's still around. Nearly all the rock n rollers are gone now. The killer's still killing that piano!
I'm 25 and I love Jerry lee Lewis, it just gets on my nervs when people don't take responsibility for theyre health. He's only about 45 in this interview and he looks closer to 65, or at least 60. He should have given up drinking long before the rupture happened, but at the same time I do take pity on him because of all the tragedy in his life.
I hope that you are right. Well, from the type of upbringing he had; he definitely knows the way of salvation. So I hope he has made heaven his future home. Long live Jerry Lee !
At one point Jerry Lee Lewis was using the same doctor as Elvis to get pills. "Dr. Nick" was giving Elvis an average of 25 narcotic pills a day like Dilaudid & Demerol plus sleeping pills all on a schedule & administered to him. After Elvis's death, the doctor was bought up on charges for over prescribing to 14 people including Elvis and JLL , and got off on all charges until he was caught doing it again in '95 when he lost his license. Doctors are hard to prosecute because of cover excuses!
Jerry looks happy here, and grateful to be alive, which I'm sure he was after nearly leaving this earth like he did. Soon after this though, he went right back to roaring again with the alcohol and pills right up to the late 90's, when he gained a moment of clarity, and gave it all up finally. This interview is the rarest of the rare, and we're lucky to be able to see it again after all these years. A big thanks to you bailbath! Got any more jewels like this? I Love it!
I head the pleasure to work with (opening the show)and meet Jerry Lee and believe me, he's one of the best people i've ever met! very nice man,and the rockinest of them all .thank's for posting, great clip
that man's been through a lot of misery!! as long as you keep surviving it, it'll make you tougher and tougher. i guess that's why this man's still alive. not many people would keep on going like this man does, respect killer, respect.
this is a great interview. This is the only interview I have seen where Jerry lee lewis felt comfortable speaking. I know he doesnt like interviews because of his past
Jesus is the answer. He is the ONLY way to the Father in Heaven. Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, repent, obey and be saved!
