Thanks for liking my video on YouTube! I have a Facebook fan page that I would love for you to be a part of - just click “like” to get all kinds of updates about events, videos, and the everyday adventures of my life!
Think about how many times Abbot and Costello had to perform "Who's on First?" which is one of the most famous comedy routines of all time. Repeating the same jokes is part of stand-up comedy, it's all about coming up with something worth performing and delivering it well.
being a comedian is like being in a band... you record your work and tour and show it off for a few MONTHS and then you come up with new material and tour again
you may find that all comics use the same material for a while , its usually topical then it changes a bit or a lot . just discovered this guy tonight btw and have watched most of the clips on here and dont think ive heard the same joke twice.
i don't think people pity him, he is genuinly funny. there is nothing wrong with being handicapped, he is just not mentally. their are many types and degrees of disabilities. I have seen josh live and he is AMAZING :)
I think its a bit of both. I think people are interested in him BECAUSE of his disability and his effort to make use of it... but then they hear him and laugh insanely. He's fuckin hilarious
Try coming up with 10 minutes or talking for each show and then perform a 10 times each month...
Real standups are routines not seperate shows. The thing is that everyone hasnt seen him, so for them its the first time so for most of the people he's telling the joke for the first time.

xoFunLoverox 4 years ago 17
Loads of comedians use the same jokes / routine for their acts, it's normal.
Fatality101 4 years ago 7
Loads is incorrect, every comedian is probably more corrects.

Correcting someone on their grammar in a comment definitely qualifies you a douche. No one gives a shit.
zRev1983 4 years ago

yeah hes funny but i think its sad that most people just pity him when he isnt really that handicapped. its an insult.
Hes a great guy, but hes not retarded. Hes funny, laugh at him for that, dont give him pity
and anyway i probably have seen more of him then anyone else here so no one try to reply and say "duhrrrr duhrrrrr thats dumb, ur a fag" no.
just no.

he's really funny, but he needs to come up with new jokes
theafflikted1 5 years ago
i saw him last nite and he did all the same stuff...
ginababea12 4 years ago
He gets new jokes every now and then, it is like complaining that Metallica always plays Master of Puppets at all their concerts.
nitesco 4 years ago
he is hilariouse but the jokes get old and needs to come up with more seriously all comedians do
jt7656357620 4 years ago
yeah he just uses the same jokes over and over.
and its not particularly harder for him, because he disorder does not affect his mind.
atleast i don't think.
he even said himself, and i quote: "I'm not naturally funny, I just try to fit in."
AwsomeJosh 4 years ago
yes the jokes are said about 50 times and at every standup...
