How many of us can listen to a person's spoken words without being influenced, either positively or negatively, by the sound of their voice (tone, inflection, emphasis...gender, cultural and racial characteristics, etc)?

Perhaps the contributor chose a neutral, non-human voice, as the best way to convey ONLY THE MESSAGE.
