Not against him welding, however I do think that he should weld with the piece elevated so the gasses aren't going straight up into his face. Couldn't quite tell, but it looked like he was directly overtop the piece, that's why I said something. Just merely a suggestion...
Be proud of your boy, i'd love to be in your shoes and have a son that could do that! You're a lucky man, be proud, he's a laborer in the making, and he's whats going to keep this country movin! MUCH RESPECT FROM ONE WELDER TO ANOTHER!
@CaseyMcLaughalot your the fucking idiot here, the very air we breathe is toxic to our bodies, so sheltering a kid based off of tiny defects is STUPID your child could break his fucking neck riding a bike but your not gonna keep him from that! maybe the kid cant use this now, but maybe in 20 years he'll build a house for his FAMILY
WOW cant people just enjoy the fact that in this day and age a FOUR YEAR OLD is doing shit GROWN MEN cant do. ALL YOU FUCKING PEOPLE ARE SO IRRESPONSIBLE and arrogant even though you know NOTHING. im sure that all the people who disagree with this video are limited to two skills, WIPING THEIR ASS AND BRUSHING THEIR TEETH. this video is fucking amazing I'm learning to be a welder and this kid is an inspiration to me! i WISH i could do shit like this at 4.
@CaseyMcLaughalot hahaha you get a lot of advice from other people. you even asked your parents if welding was safe. you're nothing more than a sheltered child yourself and yes, i have learned a LOT about you just from what you posted on here. stop being a stupid little girl, grow some, and think for yourself. maybe one day you'll become a man and realize what an idiot you are. this is not dangerous, it teaches life lessons, something you have failed to do and i blame your parents.
@CaseyMcLaughalot quit being a bitch. teaching him to weld at a young age helps him gain confidence and also teaches him a skill that he can use to help his dad around the farm or shop when he gets it down pat. just because kids are young and small does not mean they cant be skilled, responsible, and useful around the house. you attitude keeps kids in a dark lit room playing video games and becoming pussies. i hated kids like the ones you will raise because they're sheltered and don't know shit.
Great video! I just started welding in grade 10 Im 15 and i love using the MIG welder buy my Teacher still wants me to use the rode and torch first :(
@youmadbro96 anyone can use a mig welder take your teachers advice and learn the torch and stick methods mig is a lot of fun and in most cases is probably the faster and better solution but when your looking for a job telling your boss you can take a stick of 6011 and put two pipes together is definitely an advantage over other jobseekers
wow that's a great job. need more people like this teaching trades to kids.so when they grow up they will know how to build and maintain stuff in the future.with out this stuff being passed on it to will come to an end.
thats awesome man, where u from? I would love to have a welder to give my 3.5 year old a shot at it. that boy will be amazing if you keep him at it. good job!
damn i wish i was that good
