@ImporTz The problem I have with Paul is his domestic policy. Actually, I wish that more people chose most of his foreign policy (though I think the US should support our allies, which is the one area in that realm in which me and Dr. Paul disagree). I like the idea of not being in perpetual war. I like the idea of spending a quarter of what we do on the military (at the most), but what I don't like is state sanctioned anti-sodomy laws, illegal abortions, and seeing Jesus stuff everywhere.

High unemployment has nothing to do with starting a successfully business. Those who have the means to start a business aren't unemployed. Actually, a high unemployment rate is a benefit to a business owner because labor is dirt cheap! Ford & GM are about as successful as the airlines in this country. @RCTruckPulling Even if businesses do fail, what we can't afford to let go are banks. I believe Obama acted correctly in bailing out the big banks. As for education funding, I was primarily focusing on federal aid to students through forms like the FAFSA, allowing those who can't afford college even with partial scholarships to go to college. Under Ron Paul, there wouldn't be any federal loans to students and only the rich could afford education. Even those who excel can't be tuition free.

But if these businesses go under, the unemployment rate increases and frankly in that situation there isn't an opportunity to start better businesses. And not all businesses are doomed to fail. Actually, I wish that more people chose most of his foreign policy (though I think the US should support our allies, which is the one area in that realm in which me and Dr. Paul disagree). I like the idea of not being in perpetual war. I like the idea of spending a quarter of what we do on the military (at the most), but what I don't like is state sanctioned anti-sodomy laws, illegal abortions, and seeing Jesus stuff everywhere.

It's bad because it gives no incentives for countries to change, making the world safer. And while it doesn't always work, it works very well when it does.

High unemployment has nothing to do with starting a successfully business. Those who have the means to start a business aren't unemployed. Actually, a high unemployment rate is a benefit to a business owner because labor is dirt cheap! Ford & GM are about as successful as the airlines in this country. It's easy to make a profit when the layoff most of your labor just like Caterpillar! They could've corrected the situation without federal aid. The recession ended? That's news to me.

Unemployment fell from 9.1% to 8.6% in the last 4 months and several companies are recovering. Your grudge against the possible increase in oil has absolutely nothing to do with the recession, just foreign tensions. If you've watched news, like the video of the US Marines peeing in dead bodies, we aren't exactly making friends.

I do respect Ron Paul as an absolute upfront and honest person, but he is a Libertarian who believes in reducing the Federal Government to almost nothing. That may make sense in a time of prosperity but definitely not in a time of crisis like now. @RCTruckPulling Even if businesses do fail, what we can't afford to let go are banks. I believe Obama acted correctly in bailing out the big banks. As for education funding, I was primarily focusing on federal aid to students through forms like the FAFSA, allowing those who can't afford college even with partial scholarships to go to college. Under Ron Paul, there wouldn't be any federal loans to students and only the rich could afford education. Even those who excel can't be tuition free.

But if these businesses go under, the unemployment rate increases and frankly in that situation there isn't an opportunity to start better businesses. And not all businesses are doomed to fail. The car companies like Ford and GM that needed federal aid 2-3 years ago are now making huge profits and currently the economy is improving. The recession ended June 2010.

@sephizinho Right now he's in 4th place. Although he does have a decent following, the journalist articles I've read say he doesn't have much of a chance. To be honest, I would rather have anyone at this point except Gingrich. He's just an unethical, corrupt person.
