The Jimmy in our version acts this song fairly well, and he sings most of it really well. But he changed the last notes a bit, so now he ends on the next to last note (the note for "it" instead of "bad"). Kind of a letdown, but better than him being flat...

Well its a tenor role, although if your a high baritone you should be able for it. It goes up to a high G.

@ero138 it's the original key. but, if you're a true "broadway baritone" with a good belt range, the original shouldn't be a problem. the last note is a G, and the vowel it's on, it belts nicely. i'm a baritone, but i do this piece often.
