i put sunscreen on my hands because im a driver an my hands are in the sun all day under the wind shield which magnifies the sun. My hands thank me for it lol
have been reading about HEMP OIL as a moisturizer, organic, cold pressed. Use it while skin is still damp/wet just a small amount like a few drops, also dabbed around eyes, lips. I tried it today and my skin was instantly hydrated WAAAY better than it's been in ages and ages. I think with the honey face wash this is going to rock for me. Also have heard for some gentle exfoliation to try some ground oatmeal mixed in with the honey. I'm so excited! Also ppl will only burn if ur vit. D deficient.
Hey I don't know if you've found a haircare system you love yet - but I can personally recommend the Lush range of hair care; I have curly course hair as well and their hair products work wonders - if you really want to go natural natural you can try apple cider vinger diluted in water (try about 1-2 table spoons of cider to 1 litre of water - this is a great way to detox and condition hair, I've also used beer as a conditions before - its not bad.
thank the LORD, i hated wearing sun screenn, you get this nastyyyyyyyyy feeling, and i never bought that whole sun damaging your skin anyways, it's only for the people who spend countless hours in the sun everyday, they SHOULD wear sunscreen.
i have very very similar hair to you, very curly and dry, i make my own conditioner by using cacao butter and coconut oil, just put it from the ears down. my hair has been so amazing since i started using it.
also i was wondering if you use any eye creams or anything to reduce lines and ageing? xx
Holla! Have you considered intellectus 424 diet (do a google search)? Ive heard some great things about it and my cooworker lost tons of weight with it.
I had the same problem with shampoo and conditioner. Look up the no shampoo method using only baking soda & apple cider vinigar. Everyone uses different amounts of each depending on their hair type. I only use 1 tsp on baking soda & 2 tbs apple cider vinigar. My hair has looked better than it has in a long time! I even tried Wen & it didn't do as good of a job as this.
have you tried WEN (hair clenser not a shampoo) ?also before you wash (like few hours or so, or if you can the day/night before) soak your hair in oil, coconut /olive oil 50/50 and braid it . you can do a hot towel wrap if you have less time but the heat from your head will work fine. my natural hair is like yours same curl and colour and is quite dry , i do this in one form or another EVERY time i wash my hair , which is usually only once a week unless its been styled . works
Regarding sunscreens - I never use them. If I'm at risk of being out too long, I wear a UPF 50+ long sleeved water shirt.
A question - I've got facial rosacea despite trying all kinds of dietary interventions (fasts, cleanses, etc.) and different organic cleansers. Any tips for reducing the flare ups?
ive used to have so much promblems with shampoo as well, coause im alergic to sodim laurth sulfate wich is a thinking agent, and the natural shampoos just woulden't do anything for my hair but than i came across desert essence organics hair care, thickening and volume, from the health food shop, and woah its amazing, i almost felt like a kid agian, because it foams up so much , so no sulfate, just natural, and green apple and ginger, and coco oil, check out this brand next time at the health shop
before i wash my hair i put the extra virgin coconut on my hair then shampoo, it works great ,everybody always tells me my hair is so healthy looking, try it you'll love the results.
Sunscreen: People have lived on this Earth for thousands of years and haven't used a chemical sunscreen. Skin cancer is a modern malady. Don't you think skin cancer may have something to do with all of the chemical laden soaps, detergents, and pollutants we live with now? Something to think about.
You think people are going overboard on sunscreen? Wow. I think you are going overboard on all this toxic stuff. Having a layer of sunscreen on your skin is proven to be WAY better for you than for going out in the sun without it. Even for an hour. You're wrong. Please don't give people the wrong information before you look it up on a website other than cosmeticsdatabase. And since you will not touch anything else that's toxic, I'm pretty sure you'll be a lot less "harmed" than others anyway. (:
I love your videos! I haven't tried it, but I heard that women used to use porter beer as a hair conditioner back in the day. It's all natural and worth trying!
Now I can give you some websites for hair, that's my thing. I'm just now getting on to my skin, lol
Maybe you should go no-poo. I do it and I have course, kinky hair that others would consider an afro, but I am African American with small kinky coily curls and that works for me, so I think it could work for you.

wow you are from Montreal? i lived there for 2 years. i can't stops wearing make up. i need to hide my dark eye circles and pores. i like your videos!! thanks
OMG I cant believe you dont wear makeup!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I kept on thinking to myself ...wow her make up looks good.. THATS SO WIERD! You look like you wear make up! But i guess its cause you look so good.
I love Alba botanica shampoo and also their conditioner it has fruit in it : ) I love it ! it leaves my hair so soft. 100% vegetarian ingredients, no animal testing, EU cosmetics directive compliant. It has coconut, mango etc... This is what i use for now. It leaves my hair so nice and it smells so good too. : ) I leave the conditioner on for atleast 3 min and I end up with barely any knots in it. The conditioner is very thick. : )
I use shampoo and conditioner from the store Lush. Most of their products are vegan and I've seen an amazing difference in my hair since I've started using them. I only have to wash my hair once every few days now!
if people want to protect themselves from the sun without using sunscreen then use pure aloe vera. it helps protect your skin without all the chemicals
i have recently been using Bragg's apple cider vinegar and olive oil as a shampoo and 3 times a week a apple cider and filtered water rinse. Its been great!!!
hey i just looove your videos! :) hey i want to try the raw honey as far as a cleanser but im a bit confused on which type of honey to use? :/ some people say to use 100% pure honey (the one in the teddy bear plastic container) regular honey. then others say to use 100% pure ORGANIC honey! then few people have said to try ORGANIC RAW HONEY (like yourself) then some say manuka honey is the way to go??? :/ i am sooo confused in which is best to use as far as acne goes. please help me! :'(
You know dry skin brushing? that's kind of what i do only to my hair and scalp,
and raw unfiltered APPLE CIDER VINEGAR for CONDITIONER!!
really! try it! it works so well, just be sure not to do it everyday unless really needed, and do not use any other conditioners. i do it whenever i have an event, and my hair looks gorgeous, (i am very happy to say) =]
@carolinecentre how to you dry brush your hair and scalp? do you use a small facial brush to do it or what? I am interested because I have been going through shampoos just like her and I just am never happy with the ingredients or the results.
Sorry, I don't use anything to do it, i use my hands/fingers/fingernails. I don't scratch my scalp as much as just let all of the oils loosey-goosey so the water can wisp some of it away. I do find if i do not eat well i might have to use something like baking soda or an organic shampoo from publix. But i really find that it's the apple cider vinegar rinse that does most of the magic in this case.

Another great video Natasha. I have never used raw honey as actual face wash, only in masks. I will try it. Avocado and papaya/seeds are also great for the skin and avocado for a hair mask too. I love that your focus is natural, real raw food for skin care. It doesn't get better than that. Thank you so much for this glorious video! Great tips!!! I am so feeling a pamper party at your place dear! Ps. Drinking fresh Carrot juice for a glow and cucumber is wonderous too. Local organic foods! honey!
Question about the juice fast, do you premake juices to take with you to work and such? I known it recommended to drink the juice right after you make it. But of course, I can't take my juicer to work, lol.
wat about acne? pls give some tips...I am using clean and clear salicylic acid face wash....Its working fine but my skin is becoming very dry and tight.
@wearsmile4ever she said for acne to stop using every kind of products on your face because it makes it worse and you have to do diet changes, like getting rid of sugars, dairy, and white flour products. Maybe take them away one at a time to see what is the cause of your acne. She has a recording you can buy on her website that is really helpful
You have beautiful hair! I heard chamomile tea is a good hair rinse, havent tried it yet though. I buy my honey from the next town over, raw but i dont think organic. But they pollenate with fireweed, soo cool! It makes my skin flawless!!
