  • :O

  • It is easy marble paint in plain water. Usually you need something to change the water structure then drip your dyes. This is opposite.

  • Leuk! ^_^

  • Wat is the stuff they r dripping in the water and were can I buy it

  • Ha! Drying them on the LUSH Times! =P

  • Wow!I do something like this but I put it on my nails, never thought about putting it on paper!:D

  • I did tha in skool

  • So are you just using water and food colouring or what are you using?

  • the dripping is music!

  • Hi :)

I'm from denmark, sorry if my english isn't so good. I would really loove to learn how to do ebru art, i'm not sure if its called ebru, but its the one where you can make flowers and drawings in the water.

I have tried many times, but it just isn't working :S

Do anyone know how to do it?

What do you mix the water with, and what kind of paint do you use..?

Please help me, i really want to learn it:)

  • @MsTilde I live in New York and I do the art of ebru at artistandfleas. I also teach this art. So anyone interested write me at helios82@live.com.

  • art for people who can't do art

  • @IAmSuchANerdLol that makes no sense. Everything is art. You say this because some people can actually paint this and this appears like an "easier" way. I personally cannot paint as well and wouldn't mind creating this. Everyone can do it differently. This is a particular type of art, it isn't for people who can't do art.Art and creation comes in different forms.

  • @Ladiixo then my big heaping shit is just as artistic as the mona lisa

  • @IAmSuchANerdLol Lol, you're such a nerd : - p

  • I looked up for Marabu color online. I could not find it even at Amazon.com. I live in US???Where can I get this color???

  • what are you doing with those paper?

  • how did i get here?o.O

  • I am an art student studying nature, I ordered some Marabu Easy Marble after watching ur vid, is it possible to make shapes with the inks or is a pattern the most you can get out of them? Nice vid and really helpful in choosing what supplies to buy :) thanks!

  • @Inkefire You could try to make patterns, but that would be more like ebru. Marbling as we know it is actually a less artful form of the turkish art of ebru.

  • hahaa lol een vork XD origineel XD hahahaa

iedereen voorzichtig met een dun stokj

"ik moet het perfect doen , geen fouten"

hier : kga er effe me een vorkj over XD

  • Does it only work on paper???????????❔❔❔❔❔❔❔❔❔❔❔❔❔❔

  • @MissNDHS no, you can use nailpolish instead and dip your nails into it. Very pretty effect :)

  • where can I buy such a dry stator? :)

  • Very nice :)

  • waar koop je die verf ??

  • @ledLICHT1 Ik heb deze gekocht bij De Kwast in Den Bosch.

  • I like the noise it makes.

  • Watch some Ebru sanati. That's the wright way of water marbeling

  • what kind of paint can I use?

  • ssmext paper ;D

  • plz what kind paint ?

  • Did you use ink and water?

  • @xrainbowmintx It's plain water, but I used Marabu Easy Marble for the paint. It's not ink per se -- it's like acrylic or something, because it makes a tiny film.

  • what kind of paper is that?

  • @PakaLOLOHiable Plain 80 grams printer paper.

  • it is not so artistic.Easy! did you watch any marbling video? You use small paper. Generally people use the paper according to the tank used one.

  • Your dutch right? I understood most of the things you said.. but the rest wasnt clear.

I come form the netherlands too i lived theer for six years then came to england ;)

  • can u use ordinary oil paints?

  • Great tutorial. I'm going to try it on some of my unfinished wooden bangles and see what happens.

  • thank you , i like it !

  • Totally awsome

  • This is the best paper marbling YouTube video I have ever seen

  • simple way 2 do it is take water n mix vinegar in it..and thn u can put any oil based paint in it little more than drops..ull see it will dissolve immediately..if not put sum more vinegar..after adding 2 or 3 required shades, mix them little to get design n thn put paper on da surface ov water..take it off immediately n let dry..same technique i did on many clay pots too after applying base colour of enamel :) ull njoyyy da resultz!

  • I love it!!!

  • ya'll are bein mean!! i thought it was cool/

  • Lijkt me fijn om te doen. Mag ik vragen welke inkt of verf je gebruikt en kan dat eventueel op canvas?

    Groetjes Jackie

  • what kind of paint are u using?oil paint?

  • @sony4349 "Marabu Easy Marble", something specifically designed for marbling. It's not the best, but it's indeed easy to use.

  • Wow this is an absolute terrible example of marbling.

This is an exact example of what happens when things become mainstream.

  • @GoodiGoodi

Congratulations, you are an arrogant artist!

  • Can i use this technique on fabric?

  • "That seems suitably chaotic"

  • Judging by the movement of the liquid, I think the liquid is too thin. Use more moss and boil it bit longer until it becomes thicker. And once the paper lays flat in the tray, cover the sides with strips of old newspaper. These will suck up the rest of the ink. That way, you can safely pull out the paper without risking the paper picking up ink you don't want. I don't like modern techniques. The old ones are better. After 400 plus years that old paper still look fantastic and it's durable.

  • @telescopereplicator Sure, but if you don't want to spend a lot of time and money on setting up a paper marbling installation, this is the alternative. Yes, I know the result is not as good as when using the 'real' techniques, but this is something you can do as a novice in an afternoon. As such, the result isn't too bad.

  • WILL you please tell me what the clear liquid is that is in the tray that you are dropping the paint into????

  • @westexhart water

  • @westexhart It's plain water.

  • thats are soooo beauty

  • Woah, is that some old computer terminal next to the guitar under the table?

  • ???????? la decorazione dell'acqua sembrava una frittata .. nulla a che vedere con la vera carta marmorizzata fiorentina...

  • En zowaar! Op het Lush krantje!!!
