Just wondering since I'm relatively new to this band, but is this the original version of "Kids?" I heard they had two versions, but the only one I heard wasn't quite as lengthy as this one.... And it definitely sounded different to this one(this one, I agree with people, is much better!)...

The melody which seems so beatifull is so simple: it just goes up with same interval and then goes down on the same notes. Try it and you'll see! So this melody was not invented by human, just played on guitar or keyboards. But MGMT got it first!

right now there are some amazing musical acts springing up out of the good ole USofA. "kings of leon" being a big one right now but they've been in britain since 2003, and they're better than ok. "mgmt" (of course another), then there's "the black kids" and "iglu & hartly", the now veterans "the killers" (who granted have gone a lil soft on their latest album) that's just 2 name a few. mgmt just bursted onto the scene recently, give em time. as dizzee would say, "everything just takes time,man"
